Mend It is the Bomb!
Tom, It's awesome stuff... glued up a bunch of what I thought were broken swim baits.. back in business :D It also works great on senkos and Jen thanks you for that. But be careful sniffing it in a motel room, I used it Friday night and Saturday I forgot where I was, didn't have too good of a day. :...

Re: How are those old V6 135hp Mercs?
I am 100% certain it is the same block. This boat is my dad’s bass boat. My dad has Parkinson’s disease and can’t fish anymore. He was never a tournament fisherman so the boat has not been run hard and it has low hours (not that I’m saying a tournament fisherman would run his boat hard :roll...

Re: Still my Hero..............
Nice fish Jim, you're still my hero too! Did you catch that fish on the old war veteran or have you been breaking in the new one? The happy ending was my favorite part of the story. :D I've got one more weekend of working over-time in the house-of-pain :( but then I get to fish for a month 8) , see ...

Re: Room rate ?s
Scott, I just got my room confirmation from Konocti Harbor. Triton boat owners are given a room rate of $99.00. You do get a boat slip at no extra charge but you have to reserve it through the marina.

Re: Thank god another bass boat was close yesterday
Glad you’re okay Johnny, that was a predicament. You probably already know about it but there is a really simple trick to removing fish hooks from tissue. Years ago Jenny got a treble hook stuck in her thumb (big surprise) at Stoneyford and it was pretty deep. We waited about an hour and when the ...

Thanks Johnny for your kind words.... maybe we can all get together for a group hug, uh no, probably a bad idea! Jenny and I also enjoyed hanging out with you and Tony and everyone at the rally and look forward to it next year unless I'm blackballed from attending!

Re: Why is Westernbass promoting killing of giant bass
My post was not a personal attack on Tony or Western Bass or any of its staff. I am sorry to Tony and to the rest of you that might have perceived it that way. That is not at all how it was meant. I think you Tony are a great guy, who does a great job and I consider you to be a friend I have a lot o...

Why is Westernbass promoting killing of giant bass
I don't post much but enough is enough. A majority of this web site has to do with tournament bass fishing which promotes catch and release. Catch and release is the reason why our fishery is so good today. I have been bass fishing all my life and I can remember in the 70’s fishing Lake of the Oza...

Re: Secert Banana Scent Bait wins AC Pro/Am
Thanks everyone for the congrats! What an awesome tournament. Angler’s Choice ran a great event thanks to Teresa, Terry and Mark. The triple weigh in was way cool and the BBQ was great. A special thanks to my AMs: Jim LaRosa, Matt Blanco, and Vern Roberts. You guys were great and I couldn’t have...

Jenny and I worked for 100% Bass for three tournament seasons and we know that Korny is one of the most honest and hard working tournament directors out there. Just a heads up guys, Jenny's out in the drive way pacing back and forth with her scuba gear and waterproof makitas waiting for me to hurry up and load the boat so we can leave for the rally. Re: Misty Girls Nonboaters at the Rally
Hey Seig, I think Angel’s right….you should be worried. Why the last time we were at Home Depot, Jenny bought a cordless waterproof Makita and asking was me about drill bit sizes and if they would puncture aluminum or fiberglass. Then for some reason she wanted to stop at the dive shop a...

100% Bass Championship
Thanks to 100% Bass for another Championship that went flawless from start from to finish. Well organized from the check-in at Phil's, the boat inspections and the weigh-in at Bridge Bay, things were the smoothest we have experienced at a TOC with this large of a field of competitors. Thanks to you ...
