Good point Caudawg -> definitely have to get me a whistle for the boat. Everybody should remember that you don't have breaks on your boat so SLOW DOWN when you don't see where you are going (fog but also turns you can't see ahead)!

I think you use the "setback bracket" to install it straight to the transom. Mine is on the jackplate so I hope somebody with a transom mount can verify.

Guys, this post wasn't meant to start a discussion about who runs what kind of tournament - all I wanted to know is if somebody knows the payout structure of FPT. Stop the whining and fish whenever and whatever tournament you want and if you are just bitching about tournaments/ORGs than just zip it ...

No problem as long as the bracket isn't "in the way" of the ducer signal -> if you have side image make sure the sides of the transducer are cleared (transducer shield and saver are made out of metal and work great).

Don't know if I like an event where the top 3 don't weigh a limit for all days and almost half the field doesn't break the 10lb mark for the tournament. It's definetly different. The reports from falcon aren't great at all right know but it's gonna be interesting to see what some of the best fisherm...
