    Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: I've been hitting the lake about every other weekend for the past couple months. Water is way down, to the point where I'm afraid to launch my boat (heard of 2 outdrives and several props getting torn up in recent weeks), so I've been float-tubing the east end of the lake. The white bass are so thick, you can't keep them off, and can't get through them to catch anything else. I've been averaging 20-25 fish per hour on just about anything you throw at them...in-line spinners, grubs on darter heads, or any minnow imitation crankbait. Most fish are in the upper 10' of the water column, and out in water over 6' deep. Time of day and weather conditions don't seem to matter. Fish are mostly small, with the occasional decent size one thrown in here and there.
    City: Fernley

Tips: This would be a great time to take the kids fishing. Fish from shore along steeper areas with access to deeper water. Blue Fox vibrex spinners (silver works the best for me), Rapala minnows, Berkley gulp grubs on darter heads, you name it, it'll work, as long as it moves.
If you're after wipers, walleye, or black bass, throw bigger, heavier baits, but don't be surprised if the white bass hit them, too.

    Water Temp: 46 to 51

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: 29 anglers with only 33 fish weighed in. We were slamed by 2 cold fronts right on top of us. Drop shot, texas rigged creatures, and jerk baits. There are some beautiful fish in that Lake. Most came from the Narrows in 2 to 30'. Very few fish on the Silver Springs Side of the Narrows. Largemouth, Smallmout and Spots were caught.
    City: Las Vegas

Tips: Besides the Narrows, Fish the Rocky stuff from the Fallon Launch all the way to the dam and around the island. Hit it before the recreationals get there and contact Sierra Nevada Bigmouths regarding future conservation work being set up. Lahaontan is an awesome Lake just bring 1.5 million drop shot weights as it is rocky. www.nevadabassfederation.com

    Water Temp: 66-73

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Didn't really expect to catch any bass due to the front that passed through on Friday, but had to get out. Also figured the cooler weather would keep the wake-boarders and water-fleas off the lake. On the water at 9:30 AM, off at 1:00 PM. Fished the rocks along the north side of the Narrows and caught the heck out of the white bass. Boated at least 30 fish, missed probably twice that many. Mostly small fish, 10" to 12", but caught a few decent sized ones. Lure type & color didn't matter... caught them on everything I threw... Fat-Free shads, Mystic Shad-R's, Wiggle-sticks, Shad-Raps & Vibrex spinner minnows. The only lure I didn't catch any on was a Rattle-Trap.
    City: Fernley

Tips: Sit in 30-35' of water, throw to the shore, let it sink about 10 seconds, and reel it back slow, stop-n-go. Most hook-ups came right at the boat.
