Increase in Trout Permit Fees Approved
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission voted unanimously to increase the fees for resident and nonresident trout permits during a regularly scheduled meeting in Little Rock. The new price for resident trout permits will be $10 annually, while the nonresident trout permit will increase to $20 annually.

Feds permit killing sea lions in Oregon to save fish
According to the release, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) approved ODFW’s application to lethally remove the California sea lions that are present at Willamette Falls in order to help save winter steelhead and spring Chinook salmon from extinction.

Comment Sought on permit to authorize additional incidental take
The amendment would change incidental take numbers for the threatened grizzly bear, Canada lynx, bull trout, and unlisted westslope cutthroat trout as a result of the additional proposed lands. The take will not reduce the likelihood of the survival and recovery of these species in the wild.
