Hi all, As we wrap up the fall season and get ready to jump into winter bassin’, I want to congratulate Angler’s Marine on their 30th anniversary of Bass-A-Thon. As always the “West’s biggest bass fishing show” did not disappoint. It is always one of the greatest bass events of the year. If you missed out on the action, you can catch up with some of the pros and vendors in the forums and you can stay tuned to WesternBass.com. We will be bringing the pro seminars to you on the site, courtesy of Angler’s Marine. We are anxiously looking ahead to the next sports show on the agenda – ISE Sacramento, coming Jan. 19 – 22. We are also excited as all of our tournament organizations get geared up for the new season. The tournament calendar can help you get your schedule together. Strong bite continues for Delta anglers Dan’s Delta Outdoors Finale of the 2016 Black Bass Series Goes out of Big Break Marina Saturday November 5th and 6th. This catch and release tournament is the Final of 7 events. The Best anglers from the years series will be doing battle for the Tournament of Champions title and nearly $7000 in prize money. It’s no secret what a little current can do. Walking baits are great topwater options while small swim baits and swim jigs get the mention. We found plenty of Stripers and Black Bass with Pencil Poppers, Hair Jigs, Bubba Shad Lot of Stripes on Old River Flats.

ntioch Pier scored stripers to 38 inches this week. Shad is top offering. The West as in Honker Bay to the Broad Slough plug casting is getting fish when wind cooperates. Go On Top with Trinadad Cedar Plugs. Bass Bite stays solid in the Break and surrounding cuts. Cranking and spinnerbaits is starting to improve daily.

Representatives from many different companies will be on hand, many different speakers and tourney on Sunday! Sugar Barge to Host C.A.S.T for kids event Saturday! This great event brings many young anglers to the river for a lifetime experience. Boaters always needed be at Sugar Barge 7 am Saturday!
