Lake Oroville Fishing Report | This Week July 13 | Found Fish and Found a Bear
Good to be back on the lake, skipped last week due to the 4th crowds. Got launched about 5:30 am at Lime Saddle and found a decent bite at the end of the point, right under the gas dock, picking up 11 fish in about an hour.

Lake Oroville Fishing Report | This Week June 12
Launched about 5:30 am at Lime Saddle and fished till 9:30 am. Tried the drop off again, not nearly as super as last trip, picked up just 8 fish, then went to N. Fork and got another 18 for 26 fish today.

Only got 14 fish, all in the 13 13 1/2: size, and best right at 15" no 14" range. Bite seems to sour when your really not up to fishing.

Life jacket exchanges set for TODAY to kick off Safe Boating Week
National Safe Boating Week is all about encouraging responsible boating and life jacket wear every time boaters are on the water. As we enter boating season, the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is kicking off the initiative on May 19 by hosting life jacket exchange events throughout the state. The goal is to make sure that no one has an excuse for not wearing a life jacket — people can swap old, worn-out life jackets for a brand new one in the appropriate size.

Got launched at about 6:20 am, off the lake at 10 am, and to my surprise, 95% of the wood had been cleaned up and no issue at all launching, have never seen it this clean this time of year as the water comes up.

Fishing Report Lake Berryessa This Week | April 7
Saw an amazing thing that one doesn't see often. We were fishing a good spot in the early afternoon and saw a few bass close to the boat. Along comes this 4 to 6 lb smallmouth, swimming slowly about 2 feet under the surface. What a sight!
