You can buy stuff you pour into the water around your dock area to help with the weeds. ^ You can't compare champion, nitro, skeeter, and bass cat to a Ranger. Thats like saying a Bentley is a nicer car than honda, toyota, ford, and gm. I would say triton is just as good as a ranger.

You really can't go wrong with any st croix rod. Make sure you get one that has a life time warranty on it though. That way if the rod breaks or something, you just have to pay shipping to get a new rod.
