Re: transducer location

An HDI transducer gives you these two views of the two different sonar types. I have not tried one on a Live unit so I don't know how it works. I put an HDS Live on the front of my boat and got the HDS Live with the 3 in 1 ducer to put on the trolling motor. This way I have the traditional Broadband...

2017 Yamaha VF250LA SHO for sale

I am selling my 2017 250 SHO that is on my Ranger. I just got a new one and need to get it broke in. My mechanic just checked the hours on this motor and there is 33.4 hours on it as of February 8, 2019. The motor has warranty until 2022 I believe, still looking for that paperwork. When you have a Ranger with the setback transom, most people mount the transducer flush on the bottom of the setback with the cable pointing towards the motor or back of the boat. Great video Ken! It takes just a very small amount of time to see what "grass" looks like on the Structure Scan and the side Scan shows it so well. You are so correct. Not all the grass grows all the way to the surface and this is a great way to find those grass lines that those who fish o...

The Carbon unit reads the Structure Scan by plugging the transducer cable directly into the back of the unit. You will need a short converter cable to go from LSS 1 to the Carbon unit.
