Walked around the lake lookin or ish i could hit with sight, ound one dink on the other side o the lake just past the dock hooked it 1.5 lb or so maybe more he was pretty pudgy. Any who wandered into that back cove and saw two big ol buckets just wantin to get cought right on the bank too scince it was deep enough to ind them, my trouble wasI couldnt seem to locate the bed I had them lookin at all sorts o lures senkos inese worms (I shoulda tryed a big ol bubble gum yodo to tick em o) and only got one serious look outta it with a lucky crat pointer he looked at it moved towards it a bit then just sat there and didnt moveso neither did iI gave it a twitch and the ish took o, I decided to let them chill down or a bit and check out other areas ound nothing came back 20 mins later and bolth ish that were sitin on the spot werent back yet so I moved back around by the island and boat ramp spoted that ish Aaron wanted and threw one enese worm at it and BAM she hit it like a ton o bricks!!!!! jk she ignored it then swam o. Report: Well its been a while scince I posted a report so I thought Id post about todayand Monday, went out just walkin around to get some resh air and have some un, Monday I ished or 2 hours and had nothing but just beore I let I had casted out a senko and heard something goin on next to me by the rip rap or the pool so I look over and one o the egerets has a RAT skewered on its beak like a Rat kabob so being a photographer and all I drop the rod and grab the camera and slowly aproach the bird he gets nervous that im gunna take his dead wet rat and lys o and I dont get my photo so I pick up the rod and somethin is thumpin on it so I set the hook but the line is too slack OH NO I lost what elt like a pretty nice ishWED: I headed out or 4 hours today and about hal way through I decide that Im going to get some conidence with a jig on this lake beore I hadnt had so much as a nibble I started trying it o o that west dock with no avail I go back to the shore and pitch it towards the dock on the let side parell with the ramp to the dock I eel it bouncing o what eels like brush or something and give it a pop to get o o a twig or what not and bump get a solid 2.5 at least the scale is a spring loadedo ne and not too accurate thats all I got today Jig color was Red/black and light brown skirt red head and a Yamamoto Double tail grub in black and red Also got a hit on a split shot lizzard but didnt hook it I think using a drop shot hook wasnt a good idea but i wanted a real slow sink that was a green pumpkin yamamoto lizzard

Report: I ished riday with one ish that came unbuttoned about 4 eet rom shore. came on a baby brush hog with a arm breaking cast... The rumor about the big striper are that when they have to let the lake level down they swim up rom the canals and get in. in October I saw a 36 incher loatin near the channel pt dock. Maybe could have spawned I dont know what type o conditions stripers need to spawn...They would get mighty big eatin trout and crappie in that lake I imagine...Thas anotehr thing the crappie must be doin well in there caus ive cought some whoppers in there...TOm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out rom 430 till 730 with my bud dan, Fished or a long time with no bites, hes never really been ishing or when he has it was with live bait and he didnt have much un. So I slaped a senko on his rod and edplained how to use it and why it works. Any how I was startin to eel bad that we hadnt cought much. So I decided to show him my honey hole. Well a ew o them on a nice long shore line near the bridge. I kept gettin lots o bites but kept missin most o my darn ish Changed my hook and senko. (EWG Gam Super line hook and a Clear and black lake senko) (I you need to know the number code ask cooch he can tell ya most likely) Any how tossed it out and as it sinks I detect the slight thump o a ish hiting the end o that luro carbon line. I reel down and set the hook Boom a ish is on But I couldnt be sure how big he was as he started swimin towards me he makes a run away rom me and my line gos nuts peeling o like mad so I hold him in place, tighten the drag and start to haul back. At this time I know that its a pretty good ish get to the surace and I say Damn thats a good ish I get it out and its a sturdy 5lb ish not too bad or the 6 inch senko on a color i never used caus it hadnt been productive. My riend is in awe o me standing across the channel on the other side o the shore. As Im tryin to ree my ine lil buddy he says "I got one" and he pulls in a nice lik 2-3lb ish. That totaly made his day.
City: PittsburgTips: Lots o nice hits in slop and in weed beds, senkos have been the ticket or me but red and black craw colors will also work on the ol jigs. 6in Peral(or clear?) w/blk-ake was todays meal ticket or those ish.
