Pit stop in Lakeport is my favorite, but not mid lake obvioussly.

If you have an idea of how many gallons it will take, fill it 3/4 of the way up and then stop for 20-30 seconds to let it settle, then continue. Seems to help me some.

Did they give you an option to upgrade or anything like that? Seems most "lifetime" warranties end up not lasting all that long. Sorry to hear this. I have my share of Powell max rods. Not familiar with the quality of the inferno series or the price difference.

Sounds like you need more prop. A 23 or 24 pitch is probably what you want. A 24 fury would be my GUESS, but you need to talk to someone with the same boat/motor combo. Berryessa is a great lake. You will have fun no doubt. Water levels will be good, fishing pressure is usually minimal, and it a beautiful place to be. Enjoy, sounds like a great trip you have planned!
