Federal and State Taxes to Fund the Delta Tunnels: Restore the Delta seeks a full accounting of financial plan and state audit
Stockton, CA — Citing a lack of state or federal legislative authorization, Restore the Delta today sent a detailed request under the California Public Records Act to a half dozen public agencies, including the California Department of Water Resources seeking details about the funding plan for the proposed Delta Tunnels (CA WaterFix).

Striper Trolling and plug casting has stayed consistent the last few days. Water cleared a bit this week and a few more stripers in the Cache Slough area responded. Trolling the Angry Eyes and Savage Preys is the best bet. Sturgeon anglers moved West . Catfish start to show in better numbers with Mackeral.

The key for me in this tournament was fishing shallow spawning banks with sparse tules in front on shallow wood with good clean grass. When the tide was high the fish wood boil and follow the bait out but when the tide would fall and the shallow grass was exposed then they would start biting aggressively. #TBT to 2015 Delta FLW

Isleton Striper Trolling and plug casting has started to recover a bit from the dirty water.. Water temps raised a bit this week and a few more stripers in the Cache Slough area responded. Sturgeon remains the focus here. Diamondback anglers are heading to 41, Liberty and Cache Slough areas with roe and eel reporting success.

Kaneko claims two trophies in two days
Miles Kaneko, 14, of Berkeley, Calif. had quite the bass catching weekend. Competing with his father, Josh Kaneko, in the Saturday’s Wild West Bass Trail team event on Lake Berryessa, Miles helped earn a 2nd place finish with seven-fish for 28.66.
