Re: Golden Mussel found at Oroville
I am sure they have a method of checking boats to make sure they have been inspected but I don't know what that procedure is. But, you should be aware that they don't start the inspections at the Forebay until 8:30 AM. And if there are boats ahead of you, who knows how long it will take and then add...

Anybody still not getting their Boater ID Card? I read the book, paid my $10.00, applied to take the test, took the test and mailed it in - all about mid January, and I have not heard a word since, nor received the Temp Card. I do have the app ID number and Boater ID number.

A few day ago I learned that you can go to Gone Fishing Marine in Dixon and they will attach the tag/seal to your boat - no fee, no appointment necessary. I did that today and I was in and out of there inside 10 minutes. When the quarentine is up 2nd week of March, I will be ready to fish.

I hope to be fishing Berryessa early to mid March and I need to get my boat cleared before hand before the 30 day quarenteen. I believe you have to make an appointment. Can anyone provide me with a number to call? Also, are the inspections done only at certain ramps or marinas? Thanks in advance!

Replacing props
I have a 17ft aluminum, multi specie boat with a Mercury 115 four stroke. I hit something on the Delta several weeks ago and damaged the aluminum prop, a little more than I think could be repaired. The prop was a 15 pitch. Checking on line, I found 15 pitch props, that came with numbers from 11 to a...

I was recently given a couple of BPS gift cards for a favor done. I drove up there this afternoon and the water is still way down, no where near the base of the glory hole yet. Hay Mark, if you don't find what you want, take a cork from a wine bottle and drill a hole thru it the long way. Next make a cut down one side the long way, and then slightly widen that cut enough so you can slip your lanyard into it. Cheap float for a few minutes of your time plus you can drink the...

Yes, some great pics of your big fish, which proves you must be doing something right. But instead of just showing off your big fish, I am sure you could share some details of your catches without giving away secret spots - like general area of the state or country, baits used, time of year, etc.
