Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Lake Washington on Monday to do some field testing of my line of hand pours(West Coast Custom Tackle). Started out split shotting a reaper off of the south end of Mercer Island. Caught 1 about a pound, missed a couple(not sure if they were bass or perch). Decided to drop shot up the east channel and started hitting fish left and right. Most came on a drop shot worm and reaper and a couple came on a sculpin. Had a pretty good day with a few very nice smallies. Best five probably went 17 pounds or so. Can't wait to get out and hit it again. Tight Lines.

Only managed to catch one good smallie in a marina on Mercer Island. The ish was around 15 eet deep. I had to stay close to the I-90 boat launch, so I didn't really work the lake like I should have. No topwater action early on, which surprised me... has anyone else out there had any good topwater going?

Report: Actually this report is or Lake Sawyer, but no listing so I'll try this.Hit the water at 6:15 with Cultiva topwater walking bait. 2nd cast yielded a 3.5 lb LM just about 75' south o the launch. Caught another 1 lbr about 100" urther and then the topwater bite died. Fished docks on the east side o the lake with Senkos (Olive Blk Flake) & (Blue Pearl) caught two more around 2.5 lbs and lost one who wrapped me around a piling. Saw a large 6 plus under a dock and tried hal the tacklebox or about 40 minutes She got interested in a pumpkinseed rench ry but that was it. Fishing turned o at 11 when the ski-boats and jet-skiis started running. Not a bad morning at all or the 1st time this year on this lake.
