Hey guys, Had a quick question. My friends and I rented a place on the RattleSnake arm of Clearlake for a bachelor party weekend getaway. These guys don't fish much but I wanted to know what I might expect for water clarity in August. The place is in the cove with the unfinished Spanish Villa. West ...

Tulloch this weekend
Hello WESTERN BASS! Hey anyone got some info on Tulloch. Report thread looked a lil lonely. Any info would help. My dad and I went out there a couple of years ago and got on a nice bite under the docks near the deeper parts of the lake. Just keeper smallies and largies, nothing big. How is the frog ...

Dobyns 736 Hands down. Pulled in a few 7's, and an 8-4 last year on it without a problem. I've used a Dobyns 765 and 766 for frogs as well, but the 3 inches less just makes it a bit easier to fish all day. Amen to that. The new Dobyn's blanks are amazing. The new 736c is amazing for froggin'. I lov...

Back when 9/11 happened, Santa Clara County instructed us that we could no longer fish some of our lakes after hours to avoid someone sabotaging our water system? (Calero, Anderson, and a few others. After hours being 7:45pm!) Now, after paying 135.00 for a venture pass to grant me launch and parkin...

Get the ROF 12 for your first one. I did. I was stoked you can throw it deep and shallow. Then maybe get a slammer and then a rof 5. Seems like those will do you good. Wow, that's almost 130.00 for only three baits.
