Potential World Record Spotted Bass Caught in Northern California
Nick Dulleck of San Jose, Calif. landed the most recent potential world record spotted bass on February 12, 2017 while fishing Bullards Bar Reservoir. He caught it while fishing with a friend, Adam McAndrews. The spotted bass weighed in at 11-pounds, 4-ounces.

JOE URIBE JR. WINS FLW SERIES WESTERN DIVISION OPENER ON HAVASU
Joe Uribe Jr. of Surprise, Arizona, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 22 pounds, 1 ounce, Saturday to claim top honors at the Costa FLW Series Western Division opener on Lake Havasu presented by Ranger Boats. Uribe’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 51 pounds, 13 ounces, was enough to earn him $80,838, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.

13-Pound on a Jerkbait| First ShareLunker for 2017
Fort Worth angler Ryder Wicker caught the first Toyota ShareLunker of the 2017 season Feb. 10 at Marine Creek Lake. But this wasn’t the only “first” he checked off the list – this particular fish outweighs the former water body record holder by more than 2 pounds, and is likely the first ShareLunker caught from a group of selectively bred largemouth bass that were stocked by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Inland Fisheries biologists 11 years ago.

The 2017 Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship will return to Mille Lacs Lake, Minnesota, Sept. 14-17. Following the AOY tournament will be the 2017 Bassmaster Classic Bracket which will take place on Pokegama Lake, Sept. 19-22, in Grand Rapids, Minn.
