Re: Seaguar Basix 101
I've used it and it's a good fluorocarbon for the money and is very soft and supple. In my opinion, Red Label would be a better budget fluorocarbon leader option because it's stiffer and more abrasion resistant than BasiX.

Re: Winter largemouth
I live in western Washington where none of our lakes feeeze over and cold water temps may get in the low 40s. During the winter I fish for smallies primarily in 30-60 feet of water in the lakes I fish. I have noticed that in all the time I have fished deep flats and points near river channels, I’ve...

The graph sharing is definitely an issue. Its either buy a card for each graph or renew every year. The annual subsciption is to access the advanced features like PlotterSync to share your waypoints between your Lowrance and the app and also for features like SonarChart Live. The map detail doesn't...

New Lake, Big Bass
There are tons of lakes in Washington state and I have fished quite a few of them. Most of the lakes within a few hours of my house are frequent stops by either me or someone I know, so I feel like I have a pulse of what lakes are "hot". That's what made my trip late last week so fun, it w...

My wife, son, and I spent Father's Day weekend on the water. Parts of three days were spent on the Columbia River, Potholes Reservoir and then Sprague Lake on the way home. Hi there, I’d highly recommend the Navionics Hotmaps Platinum mapping card.. It has 3D overlays, 1’ depth contours an even tide charts for the delta. Travis Huckaby Agree with Travis here. Since fishing re-opened in Washington, I've been making the rounds with my new boat trying to hit as many lakes as I can to find the right bite. Well, not quite 20lbs, but close enough. I went out to Lake Coeur d'Alene the other day after hearing how good the bite has been and was able to catch five for 19.64lbs.
