Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Left work a littl early Friday and fished Calero/Bailey cove area. Caught 5 from 1.5 to 2.5 lbs spinnerbaiting shoreline. Fish really nailed bait, felt much larger than they actually were. Saw several other fish caught, all pretty much clones of each other. All bucks, looks to be first wave of fish moving shallow. Should get better if weather gives us a break.

      Water Temp: 54

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Big Break and fished about 5 hours. It was windy in the morning but after noon, the wind died down. Tied was incoming. Fished the meatwall, Dutch, Ironhouse, and the break. Managed only three fish, all from flippin' the old reliable black and blue jig. Biggest went to 3 lbs. All fish came off of rock bank no deeper than 7-8'. All three fish hit aggressively. Tried crankin' in the break with no luck.
      City: Oakley

Tips: I kept the jig moving, doing my version of Cooch's claw wave. I call it my "keep the jig moving, and don't let it settle inbetween the rocks" method.

      City: berkeley

Tips: the bass love the plastic worms at CFW. all the ish seem to like sot plastics. we've caught sunish there on small rubber grubs and trout on 4" power lizards.

Report: can't stay out o the McCloud, wind at 5-10 out o the north, temp 75 degrees, caught 12 to two lbs, lost one in ront o Kamloops that might have been 2 1/2-3lbs, most taken out o 8-15 t o water, started seeing a ew cruising in 4-10t around the willows, my riend was in the pit, said he boated 7 to 2 1/2 and things are picking up over there. Find the water coming in and toss ur stu into the mud line and move it slowly, bites today were a little more aggressive but still sot. Lots o pre-ishing going on today, one o my avorite coves had three boats in the back o it. Rain is supposed to be on the way but not as erocious as the past ew storms.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Got on the water around 1PM,ished bluegill grubs in shallow, grassy coves and caught 3 approx.1 1/2-2lbs..We moved to the back side o the lake and ished lats near boulders where water was coming in and picked up 5 more about the same size. These ish took several colors o worms,black/brown spinnerbait and a craw colored crankbait.Fish seemed airly active considering the incoming storm,it was cold and windy.windy, windy, but worth it!We never got bit in anything deeper than 10'with most in 4-6'.
      City: Chowchilla

Tips: Watch line or movement.....each bite is dierent.Spinnerbaits and crankbaits were CRUSHED!Worm bites ranged rom line moving sideways to the telltale tick,tick.....even had 1 ish pick it up and swim it back towards the boat....pay attention.

      Water Temp: 52

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Berryessa and found the bite to be slow. Found spots back in the coves and had 10 fish. The best was 5 for about 8.45lbs. Fished the narrows and I think the better fish are at the north end.
      City: Dixon

Tips: Try shacking in 15 to 25 feet of water. Watch your debth finder to locate fish. Fish are stacked when they are found. Also another good bet is a jig in the brown color, with a brown pork trailer. The spots are getting in the pre spawn mode, the bite should realy turn on for them shortley.

Report: Fished south delta from 10 to 4pm. Cranked a small one in the back of rock slough, then flipped a keeper near Cruiser Haven on a brush hog in shallow water with dead tullies. At 3pm I finally got a good fish (5lber) flipping same brush hog, this time it was in dark green tullies. The fish was very aggressive on attacking my bait. Cranked and bladed as much as flipped with not as much luck. Total
      City: Brentwood

Tips: Don't know, maybe flip jigs and large plastics in healthy tullies near spawning flats.
