Water Temp: 60+
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Warm day + wind

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from 4-close. Stuck to the shoreline near the dam. Was able to land 5 and miss just 1. All were relatively small for this lake (1.5-2lbs.). Caught all fish on small plastic worms. The one I missed was on a brush hog. It was a warm day with quite a bit of boat traffic on the water.
City: San JoseTips: Fish are relatively shallow. I saw shad rising all over the lake after sundown...maybe shad patterns would work, huh?

Water Temp: 63
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Had jury duty today, we got dismissed at 9:40, ran home and got the boa and headed out to the River. WHoa! Them fish out there have taken a 180! Seems they have busted loose fer the shallows. The fish I found today were not on the beds, but in those shallow staging areas REAL close. And they were just STACKED! in the tulles. From 11:00a to 4:00p, I litterally caught a bass on every single cast of a SENKO. I probably caught 75-100 fish today on a wide variety of colors, including my first ever Delta bass on that Chartrues with black flake Senko. At one point, while on the phone with Ben Williams who was heading to ClearLake, I caught 8 fish, including a 9+ and 6+ while giving him a play by play. Spring is here folks and our River bass are chowing down!
City: OakleyTips: Head fer the flats. Toss plastics of any sorts! And if'n ya want a big bite, go fer a black buzz bait!

Report: O. K. This is or anyone tired o seeing "old" ish reports. The reports you will see rom me are or olks who are walking the banks. I like boats, but or getting in, then out quickly, there's nothing like your eet! So, here we go.The ish are starting to move up rom deeper water now. Water has been let in on & o via the aqua duct system lately. It stains the water but does'nt look like it's hurting the bite TOO much. You'll ind (or now)the BEST bite rom 7:00am to 11:00am, then it REALLY dies o. I you need more ino Call Sport Chalet (310) 657-3210 #356 Ask or Mike Watkins in the ishing dept. For the rest o the season I'll punch in here to keep the reports CURRENT!!!
City: Los AngelesTips: Lots o things work here! But day in, day out, you can't beat ishing split shotted small plastics! When I want a client to catch at least SOMETHING I give them this set-up!Light line is key. I use 4lbs test alot! I RARELY get skunked, or what it's worth. Right now I'm hooking 1 to 3.5lbs ish just walking the shore or a ew hours. Fish SLOW, SLOW, & SLOW. Move the plastic ONLY a couple o inches at a time. I suggest a long rod 6'6" to 7'6" you'll get out arther, you'll stay on the bottom longer, which

Sonoma Lake

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: For Je and other doubters, stop by the marina and check out the bragging board. I stuck a 11.6 on the above date. The marina was closed, it was 7:30 on a Friday night, but I used my digital scale. She was 28 1/4" and had spawned once at least. It is not Clear Lake or the Delta, but there are some real quality ish here. This was my Biggest so ar, but I am not dead yet! Tight lines.
City: San JoseTips: Blue Senko with black lake, 2/O XWG Gamakatsu, 14 lb. lorocarbon, slack line. Mine was on wood, shallow, next to deep water. I know, that could be anywhere on this lake, and that my riends is exactly the point!!
