  • Water Temp: 77

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Aquarium. Sunday Fishing at its finest! It seemed to be a boat show last weekend. 3 grown guys in a canoe, so you can imagine the fun!
Visibility was 10 foot. I have never seen puddingstone in such great shape! Here are some observations: Bass were in what I call a super school. They were pushing baitfish from the camper resort out along the east shore and toward the lifeguard beach. 100 to 200 yards off shore. Crankbaits and reaction baits burned as fast as you can reel them and you may get lucky. Pay attention to the birds. If you see baitfish under your boat moving throw behind them and burn it. Got 2 small keepers on one crankbait at the same time. Picked up two more keepers on the crankbait at different points along the route. To catch the bigger bass, you must be below the school. They are lazy. Total of 12 bass. 5 keepers that are happily swimming again. Biggest was 2.96. Good Fishing! Check out my ad on the link to the left under "Boat Insurance". I provide all types and specialize in business insurance.

Tips: Similar to ocean fishing, find the schools and be portable. Fast, fast fast. No plastic action. Spro BBZ baby caught the small guys in 2-5 foot of water. Strike King 1.5 5-7 foot shad color caught the keepers. Enjoy!

  • Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Celebrated a fishing friends birthday! We caught them well. 8 keepers, all respectfully released. Fishing is pretty good with several bank anglers getting fish from 10 inches to 2 lbs. I caught my personal best of 7 Lbs. We fished shallow. The girls are on beds and the males are aggressive. One 2 LB male was torn up pretty badly. He ate my finesse bait, solid center requiring a delicate light surgery. We fished from 7AM until 2 PM. Mainly in the sailboat cove.

Tips: We had a great day. All soft plastics work well. Dropshot, Weightless Senko. Please try and pick up line when you see it. This is a nice park and resource for us all. Colors didn't matter. Big fish was on a Senko. Watermelon 4". Tight lines! Ben

    Water Temp: about 60-65

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I started ishing rom 4pm to 8pm and I was ishing rom Beach area to East Shore. The beach area is pretty good or small bass, I caught 4 Large mouths in the beach area all on a Shad Rap, they were all in the 1 to 2 pound range. I moved on to ishing o the big pier, It was about 6:45pm I was using a 7 inch purple and black curly tail worm Texas rig, ater about 10 minutes I thaught I was hung on some algea and grass but I wasnt I elt a small tug, So I hooked it and next thing I see it was a nice 6.12 pound male large mouth bass jumping out o the water ater I braught him in I released him.(all bass where released)
    City: Pomona

Tips: Most small Bass are hiting on small cranks and 4 inch Finesse worms on a Carolina rig.Bass over 4 pounds are hitting on 1/2 ounce (silver)Rat-L-Traps and Top Water Plugs like Popers, but in the ater noon they are hitting 7 inch culy tail worms. When Using a worm Texas Rigged Fish it normaly dont ish it really slow unless ishing with a small plastic or small bass. Also alot oalgea is starting to grow so dont really ish very shallow water and its better to ish the lake during Monday threw Friday because there is less boat traic and less people. Best spots is the east shore.

Report: Went on the 24th and caught 2 small one pounders on the north shore on arkie Critter Grubs. Felt happy with what i got so went back the next day, and right away hooked up with another 11/2 pounder then got skunked or the rest o the day till about 4 when i got hooked up with a nice 4 pound bed ish. She wammed on my grub. Took a ew shots o it and let her go.... Went back on the 26th and got skuned on the north shore. Went back on the 28th and irst cast on the east shore got a 2 pounder on a Aarons Magic Robo worm. Ended up the day with 4 ish all in the 1 pound range. The guy ishing next to me caught 15 bass all in the 1 pound range and smaller. He used the same worm as me, but used lighter line (#4 pound test) and a light action pole with light weight on it. I htink it made theworm look more natural and seemed un when he was landing them in on a trout pole) I really love bass ishing now, and got hooked. I always ish Puddingstone rom shore. Anyone have any tips or a new bass angler who ishes rom shore????
    City: Pomona

Tips: I have had great sucess on Arkie Grubs and Robo worms. I have been using light line with a medium action pole. (#6 line, 6 oot pole) Slow, dead retrieve. The Hits have been very light, the ish grab it and sit stll.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Got on the lake at 1 PM. Fished in my tube on the South Shore throwing crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and jigs to get nothing. Tied on a 1.5" uzzy chartreuse jig and paddled around or a ew minutes to hook up with a 1 pound bass. I should o had a white grub o some kind. The water was very murky because o the boat traic. It was still ideal conditions or ishing though and a great day to use my tube or the irst time.
    City: Altadena

Tips: Go when the water is a little bit clearer and there isn't to much boat traic.

    Water Temp: 62

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Sight ished or 4 1/2 hrs (9:30-2:00), partner & I caught 23 keepers, including a 5 lber, (2) 6 lbers, & a huge 10 lber. Most o the ish between 1 1/2 - 3 lbs. The lake is wide open on bed ishing however, the water is stilled stained with max visibility o about 5-6 t. The bigger ish all came on beds around and underneath bushes. I expect ishing should only improve with the upcoming ull moon phase.
    City: San Dimas

Tips: Use any sot plastic in a high visible colors, although our best success was with the darker and much harder to see colors. Remember, release all bed ish exactly where you caught them and handle the larger emales with care, (they will be illed with eggs). Good ishing!
