    Water Temp: 75-80

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the east shoreline rom 6:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m.(been ishing same area or 13 years) it's hot but there are big bass out there..landed 6 ish-4 on a carolina rig with a our inch salt-in-pepper-grub(also with a red bead) 1-ish on a rattle-trap.. and get this a 7-pound ish on a A.C. plug...I spotted this ish in about 10 eet o water chasing around what looked to be like a small rainbow trout..so I had a 9-inch plug in my tackle box tied it on threw it out and connected..nice..
    City: pomona

Tips: this place has some huge bass in it...don't give up anything shad colored will work...I think size is important here..this lake has a good population o bass rom the 5-6 pound range,,you see them every spring so I think bigger baits will get these ish to bite...try A.C. plugs....

    Water Temp: ??

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Action is slow. Sight ishing a must. Was ishing the point rom 8:0am to 1:30pm. No luck. One guy ishing nightcrawler caught one. Maybe 2 lbs. The Bass is not interested in anything. Best way to ish right now would be to see a bass 2 to 3 eet o water and try to make it bite. I used pepper grubs, purple worm, split shotting. No luck. Even guys using live bait was not getting any hits. I think the bass in this lake has become very smart rom all the ishing pressures. I will try a di lake next time.
    City: Lakewood

Tips: This lake is very strange. Too much ups and downs

Report: Hey guys don't give up on puddingstone. I ish there everyday, and yes it slowed up because o the pre-spawn but i can tell you it's still producing a lot o ish. On the 22nd I ended the day with 7 ish. I talked to a guy, vincent, he already landed 9 ish. people were mostly sight-ishing that day. But 23rd i landed a 6.5lb at about 5:30pm. It was a emale that seemed to have no mate. yesterday i also landed a 5lb. emale on the east shore around 5:30pm. and a 1.5lb male. so there still other ish out there that aren't spawning. so in all it's been doing rather well.
    City: diamond bar

Tips: or this crummy pre-spawn, i've been using a homemade ry and lat tail that i make. they're mostly a rootbeer-green color and realy ugly and rigid. so it really hasn't matter what bait you use. but rather the color, action, and eel. i've been texas rigging it, and sometimes ddrop shotting. giving a 3-2-3 rythim. try to ind the most consistent color and shape. try not to waste time changing plastics.good luck, tight lines...

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Was ishing or largemouth rom 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Nothing. You can see them in 2 to 3 oot o water (Pre spawn), but will not bite anything!!. Even dropped a healthy nightcrawler about 1 inch away rom its ace...did not bite, started to back o. These ish are diinitley not hungry thats or sure. I tried black plastic worms, crank bait, even nightcralers with no luck. Will try back early April.
    City: Lakewood

Tips: May try waiting til late March or early April. Dragging black or crayish colored 6 inch plastic worms over there nesting area may work well in early April. Set your hook ast because they will drop your plastic once they get it away rom there nest.

    Water Temp: 55-58

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went to Pudd and caught only two, But rom a recent report rom my riend Richard Hernandez he ished the lake the 10 and 11th and said that the bass are starting to get on beds. He also nailed a huge 9.3 while sight ishing a bed. Most anglers are inding the ish near structure, But as the end o March approaches, I think the spawn will be in ull swing.
    City: Ontario

Tips: Roboworms or lie like plastics are the best plastics or the lake. Another technique is ishing a Yo-Zuri Pins Minnow when ishing beds. I'd ish the coves at Puddingstone. Their are 4 major coves aroud the lake just use a map to spot them.

I was using 4lb test and a loating crawler, my avorite rig,and was driting over submerged trees when a nice size largemouth inhaled my worm. ater a nice ight, I pulled in a bass pushing 5 maybe 6lbs. I snapped some quick pictures and sent the piggy piggy home. that was it or us. sure beat sitting at home. Fish on ellas. stinkywally
