Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the orbay today..I think there was a total o 5 or 6 boats out there...No wind at all and the rain held o till I let so it was a pretty nice day out there..Stayed in the ished the check 12 area and the lats by the south launch ramp or a hal a dozen stripers to 5lbs..stayed with a chart/white 1/2oz roadrunner most o the day ishing parallel to the weed lines. I did catch a couple on topwater and missed a couple also..No boils just covering a lot water quickly with a spook.
      City: San Jose

Tips: some top water in the likely places...hair jigs/roadrunners and traps in the 5-15' range. Be carull and where your vest i ishing alone!!..all into 48 degree water and you got some serious issues with out a PFD.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished rom a boat rom 7-12 using senkos, crankbaits, and spinners. No bites on the reaction baits, however I did boat a 7 lber using a senko. Trout that is, dissapointed the hell out o me. I thought I might have hooked a monster bass the way that ish had ought. The water seems too muddy or the bass.
      City: San Leandro

Tips: Fish slow and use attractants in the muddy water.

      Water Temp: COLD!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Decided to grab my nutz & go or it. Grabbed my tube & hit the main pond (not the island pond). H2O was cooooold but surprisingly the ish weren't sluggish. Pleasantly surprised to see the ish were somewhat active. Caught 8 altogether, including 2 on topwater (Pop-R). Fished Senkos slow, wacky style. I you dare, the ish are biting...maybe the rain has 'em all conused???
      City: Dublin

      Water Temp: 54

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Cherry Creek today and it was not happening. Threw jigs on every piece o wood in Cherry. NADA. Threw speed traps and rattletraps or awhile also. NADA. Water is muddy, but I don't think that was the reason there was no bite. It's called "POST FRONT NIGHTMARE". New Years tourney should be real interesting, because there's gonna be unstable weather through the New Year. Make your reservations or drop-shotting at the marina i Cherry is blown out. I think only 16 boats are allowed to ish at the marina at one time. These spots will not last long. I think G-Man signed up or the marina already. He's gonna be dropshotting tournament rogs. This will be a un team tourney at Sonoma on New Years Day. Be there.
      City: Petaluma

Tips: Call Scott at the Outdoor Pro Shop (707-588-8033)or ino on the tourney (1-1-03). As or the ishing, stay away rom the lake on post ront or blue bird days. Throw jigs and reaction baits. I'm outta here.

Report: Lake level is up to 703.53 as o 7:00am. Which means the lake has gone up 13t since Friday. Thats a pretty good start, now as long as they don't start to dump water again we should be able to use a regular boat ramp. I your going out on the lake be sae, there is going to be a lot o debris in the water, and let someone know what are o the lake you are heading.

Report: The American Bass Anglers launched their December tournament out o Holland Marina on Sunday. Under the cover o og and limited by the speed o their trolling motors until the og lited, the men o American Bass set out on a day that would test their patience, their knowledge o the cold weather ishing and their ability to stay warm. By 11:00 the og gave way to blue bird skies and the reality o a brutally slow bite. 7 o our top 10 anglers caught ish, but ail to land a ish that would measure. Joe Sameron came away with his second Delta win o the year with 4 ish totaling 7.6 pounds. David Mayne took big bass honors with a little beauty that tipped the scales at 3.35 lbs and just edging Joe

Tips: Work the weed line real slow

Report: Me too. I was slabbin' when all o a sudden the Carp were hitting. I thought maybe it was one o those rare Stripers pumped in rom San Luis, but nope!!! It was a Carp. Ater that, I caught 5 more (all lip hooked). My ishin' buddies still doubt me 'til this day. They are ools!!!

Report: You too, huh? Well, I've been ishin' this lake or many years with a 10 pounder to my name. But, Carp? Yes, I was jigging a spoon when all o a sudden I was ighting a hard ight. I actually thought maybe it was one o those San Luis Stripers pumped into the lake, but inally reeled it in and it was a Carp. I thought it was a luke but 10 casts later I caught 5 more (all lip hooked). My ishing buddies still don't believe me 'til this day. These Carp ight pretty good, huh?

      Water Temp: 54-56

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished with a riend rom 9:30 to 2:30.Caught 5 bass and 1 carp. Bass on darthead worms and carp on a darthead also. Fought the carp or almost 5 minutes on 6lb line and thought I would inally break my record on this lake or a bass. No luck but did land it. Bass were sporadic. Saw huge balls o shad in 40' o water surrounded by larger ish darting in and out o the schools. All bass caught were ootballs and a really nice way to see these Calero bass that can oten look pretty skinny. Once the water temp drops below 50 the shad should thin out and the bite should pick up or the bass.
      City: Mountain View

Tips: Darthead worms did the trick, the lighter the better. Shad color or the worms.Jigs just wouldn't get bit. Not sure why but the condition o the ish caught showed there was no problem or the bass to eed heavily on the huge schools o shad that we metered on the graph.

Only lost one ish all day right at the boat. Most ish were 14+ had several over 15. Trout were even getting on the hook.
