Report: Troy and I were able to sneak in without reservations. We only had a few hours to fish and since we wanted to work jigs we fished every downed tree we could find. We nailed a couple fish in the 2lbs range and missed a few real nice fish. We also spent some time in the backs of coves working baby bass colored flukes.
      City: San Jose

Tips: Have your fishing license on. With the summer crowds and new rangers you will be checked.

Report: Got a late start today. On the water by 12:30. Fished the out going tide flipping jigs under docks and into wood cover. Caught six, all between 1 to 3 pounds, before switching to a buzzbait. Caught a dink on that until I spotted a nice weed bed and decided to throw a frog. Had a pig blow up on my second cast but I didn't hook him. Missed another a few casts later and then called it a day.

Tips: Brown jigs w/ grub trailer, buzzbaits, and frogs when possible.
