Caught a few on tubes, a couple on Texas rigged worms. Wacky senko was the way to go. Lost count but caught between 30-40 fish. Most in the 11-13 inch range with a few bigguns thrown in.

Report: Launched at Jones Valley and run up the Pit for a 3 day camping trip. Spent morning trolling for trout at about 15-25 down, 150 feet behind boat. Hooked up 1-2 fish per hour in 80-130 feet of water (on both sides of the channel). Most ranged between 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. Caught one about 4 lbs off the bank, off bottom with a Berkley Gulp 4" minnow right at dusk (was a fluke I think). I was hoping to hit a catfish while cooking dinner but this huge trout took the bait. Wife reeled in one and bragged that she caught the biggest fish of the trip.
Mid-day I threw bushhogs (6" watermelon seed) and 8" brown power worms with lots of 1 lb spots hitting aggresively. At the last hour of the day, switched to Berkley Gulp minnows with no weight and threw into shallows in coves. What a fun time that was. Every cast we would hook a fish. They were fighting over this presentation. A few times the bass would jump out of the water and grab the lure before it hit the water. We were laughing and missing lots of hits. Fun time!

Report: launched at new hope 730 and worked corner island at sycamore low tide..picked up a few 12"ers on craw rattletraps and cranks. also picked up 4 more in the 1-2lb range on curl-tail roboworms and 5"&6" senkos. as tide came in, moved to mokulemne and fav tule strips and weedlines; as tide went back out, went back to the island near sycamore and worked again; 1 blowup on my river2sea dahlberg frog but no hookup. picked up 4 more on senkos/plastics before calling it a day.
lost what we believe was a double-digit at the boat...would have been my personal best but now it's just a memory..oh well! it hit my delta red speedtrap as it cleared the weedline, surfaced once, made a dive under the boat. when i worked it back from under the boat, it surfaced and shook the speedtrap loose...ouch! 1 other boat watched so i know they'll be working it huntin' down that pig! mostly 12"ers to 2.5lbers today... nothing big cept the one that got away! Ouch again!!
      City: folsom

Tips: work your areas 2x-3x with various offerings...2nd and 3rd passes on each area brought in fish. today i used 5 different color senkos (6" blk/blu, 6"blk/red flk, 5" sweet tater pie, red/blk flk, natural shad) and every one of them hit. crankin' i used 1/2 oz redeye shad in red craw and speedtrap same color. buddy used roboworms, blades, rattletraps, and sm swimbait (3") working either diagonal from tules and out across weedlines or just parallel the weedline...picked up several this way.

Report: On the water at 07:00. Fished the North end around the Airport and Squirrel Flats. Caught nothing but dinks around submerged trees. Saw some big fish cruising the flats, but nothing on beds yet. Moved South in the afternoon and was able to catch some larger fish in the stumps on steep banks. No size to brag about though. Good Luck!

Tips: No luck on the A-Rig, Cranksbaits, or Blades. Caught all fish on a 5" light purple Senko, and a 4" Oxblood Roboworm.

Report: Launched from the North Shore at 8:30am. Sunny day, no clouds, no wind, 10+ foot visibility. Went directly across the lake to the South shore dike. Saw a few fish breaking the surface in and around the submerged islands with stick-ups on top. We went to the dike wall and fished plastics (C-rig, watermelon baby brush hog) and crank baits. We were fishing in 4-10 feet of water. Spent 1 hour without a tap. Fished around the submerged islands in deeper water (18-25) and got our first bite on C-rig worm (brown with chartruse tail). My partner and I got a few more taps but were a little slow on setting the hook. On the trolling motor, we went to the East and found a shallow bay filled with small rocks and few trees in 8-10 feet of water. Stuck my first fish at 11am on a C-rig using oxblood with red flake 5" worm (15" LMB, 15ft deep). Moved thru this bay and stuck another (16" LMB) on same rig. My partner lost one on a Senko (Watermellon). My partner lost another on Senko (Watermellon). Got a few more taps on the C-rig but did not hook them.
Took a 1-hour lunch break under a huge Oak tree on one of the islands. So, back at it and I land a 13" LMB on a drop-shot rig using a 4" curly tail shad pattern at 20-25 feet deep around the houseboats that are docked on the North Shore. Fished around the submerged island (12-15 ft) but no takers. Went back to the shallow bay with trees & rocks and hooked a monster on C-rig (oxblood with red flake). I thought it was going to break my line so I went to adjust my drag and the fish came off (rookie mistake!) Must have added a split second of slack in the line. Hooked another but did not set the hook well. (Another rookie mistake!) All the while my partner has been trying different colors and techniques without nary a bite. We finally make it back to the North Shore marina 4:45pm, stop near the rocky cliffs and both my partner and I hook up with fish at the same time using C-rigs (Oxblood with red flake) in 15-20 ft. We ended with only 6 fish in the boat but it was a great day away from the office.
      City: San Jose

Tips: We tried topwater in the morning with no success. Bite was soft. Watermellon and Oxblood colors seemed best. Only a slight breeze all day.

Report: The wannabe DeltaBassBuster you should be ashamed of yourself. I enjoy coming here to read reports and for one DeltaBassBuster does what he enjoys and shares it to many who values it. So please if you want to fool around do it somewhere else and please no racial remarks. I'm Asian and i hate it when people stare me down when I'm fishing. I fell that they quickly assume that I don't know what i'm doing or that I keep all the fish I catch. For one most of my friends who are Asian and I practice what is right and we believe in catch and release. So please have respect for each other and don't come back on here.

Also tried flipping into submerged brush and picked up fish from 1 to 1.25#. Switched to darterhead and that was the ticket. 12 fish from 1.75 to 4 dragging across points and rocks walls. Report: Tried North Fork with crank baits around submerged boulders in the 5 mph zones. Picked up a couple of dink spots. Headed for NY Creek and fished trees with Senkos and got a few 2-3# spots as well as one on shorelines with crank bait (that fish was kind of beat up looking). Moved to Jack's Shack and got a 2# large in the trees. There are so many Carp up there it's crazy. Ended the day with a good late afternoon bite working the shoreline by Mormon Dam 12-15 depth casting to shoreline and in the trees with cranks. Mixture of spots and smallies ranging from 2-3#. Big fish was a 3.4 spot on crank bait.
      City: EDH

Tips: Watermelon/Lemon Senkos and gold rip/crank baits got us our fish today, about 15 total. No big fish but a fun day on the water!

Report: Bite is easy unless you are looking for keepers. Lots of dinks on senko so moved to jig and brushhog. managed some larger fish in about 10 to 15 feet of water with the largest at 3.5lb. Covered a ton of water and found the best fish off points in the Sac arm.
Ended the day with 12 keepers, with 9 off jig and 3 off brushhog. Best 5 at maybe 12lb.

Tips: As you would expect they wanted a bit of movement, so no need to dead stick. Bites were agressive and most of the fish seemed to have spawned out.

All my bass today were caught on 6" red Senko wacky rigged, Snag Proof Frogs, and California Swimming Jig w/5" RoboWorm Easy Shad swimbait as a trailer. Also had a few blow-ups on my Zara Spook, but missed the sets. Fish were holding close to shady areas and docks. The frog bass came from isolated patches of cheese around points. The swim jig bass were cuaght along the outside weed line of the main slough in 10 - 12 feet of water. The senko bass were cuaght along shady areas and around the docks.

Report: Got to fish at Cottage Grove Lake for about an hour before work today but didn't get there until 8:15 AM! It's within 3-4' of being full and the water looks great. I tried a couple of my favorite spots but couldn't get bit. Used a jig and a white/silver spinnerbait. Had a craw crank tied on a 3rd rod but chose not to toss it. With the "Super Moon" this Saturday I'm figuring there should be some super fishin' going on too. If I can swing it I'll shore fish Thursday and Friday and try like crazy to get the boat or kayak out on Saturday! You don't want to miss out on what could be a wild weekend. Be safe and don't forget sunscreen like I usually do.
      City: yoncalla,or

Tips: Look for a good batch of early bed fish to flood the shoreline this week and into next week with the moon and stable/warm temps. It should be great. I'll try to post every 2 days if I have time or perhaps daily if it's fantastic! See ya at the lake!
