Report: Well, Tom and I got out to do a little ishing yesterday rom the bank around 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM. I'm too lazy to write a detailed report, so here it goes. Three ish on the Pop-R (1-2#)... One ish on a jig (4#)... 2 ish on a prop bait (1#)... and 2 ish on a rog (1# & 9#)... I lost a giant bed ish, I never got a good look at her because her nest was almost directly under a log, but it was 7-10lbs anyways. I got her to eat a giant senko, but then she ran me into a log or something in deeper water and got me snagged and I broke it o. Now here's the deal with the 9lb rog ish. I was using a 1/2oz RED Snagproo Tournament Frog towards the end o the day. I picked up a 1lb 5oz ish with it in some slop, and turned to Tom and said..."How come I can only catch dink rog ish this year?" And then I told him, "That's the irst ish I've pulled out o slop. I've been catching all my rog ish in open water this year." So ater that I began ishing more open water with the rog, and it must've been about 10 minutes later Aaron and his cousin came walkin' on by. He stopped to talk to me or a minute, and as I was ishin' the rog, I turned to talk to him and as he did he 9lber just gobbled it down. It was quite the battle. I brought her in and weighed her with my new digital scale and she went 9-2. Tom came runnin' over rom the other side o the cove, and he snapped a ew pics with his digital camera and I posted one o them under the photos section.

Report: got in at Jones Valley at 0330, 3 spots in the gravel now, lake down past 19t, wind out o the N/E at 6, air temp 63, idled over to a cowpasture cove hump and immediately connected on 3 dinks in 6 t o water on hula grubs threaded onto a 1/2 oz ootball head, pulled out a new jointed black jitterbug about 4 inches long and tried that or ten minutes and caught the smallest spot I have ever caught, 3 ounces and not as long as the jitterbug, kinda makes you wonder what he intended to do with it. moved over to some submerged humps in the lower pit throwing the jitterbug as it got light out and got smacked big time, it was a a real decent ish but I never got a look at it as I only got back the ront end o the jitterbug, it was new and the irst time I used it, sure would have liked to get a look at the ish that broke it. Went over near squaw point and caught 3 more dinks and the bite(or me) stopped at 0515. back to the ramp at 0545, still no one there, air temp up to 66, had to go take care o a ew things. Parking lot has about 40 rigs in it but mostly vacationeers probably out on houseboats rom jones valley resort. main body areas airly clear, upper arms muddy rom all the traic. Water Temp: good question
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I went up to Sonoma with my dad or our annual ishing & camping trip together. The ishing was really good considering it was a holiday weekend and the crowds were out.The unny things is, just when ya think you've got a lake igured out, it throws you a curve. In this case it worked out in my avor. I irst got on the lake saturday morning around 8am and caught one ish deep on a 6" PBJ Zipper worm then another on a Rapala Risto Rap crankbait. That was it and I stopped or lunch. I didn't expect to ind any so I was happy. That evening I went over to where I caught the crankbait ish and ound 'em chewing white tandem spinnerbaits really well. I caught 6 to 2 lbs. Not bad beore the sun went down. I stuck around to wait or the night bite but never ound it and went to bed around midnight. The next morning I got out about 6:30 and promptly caught 5 keepers to 3 lbs all on the white blade. FUN!
City: Rohnert ParkTips: The ish were on the lats in Yorty creek around the island. They were anywhere where green vegetation was. Mostly the new sparse tule growth and always near a good dropo to deep water.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Well, I went out to the lake tonight with just a couple o rods and a pocket ull o tackle mainly to just mess around with some topwater ish. I walked in on the backside so I could ish the back cove at around 6 PM. I began throwing my pink Pop-R, and on about my 4th cast I had about a 4lber chase my Pop-R down, but didn't eat it. So I quickly ollowed up with a senko where I saw the 4lber swim o to, and I saw my line jump pretty quick. I set the hook, and my line broke instantly though. Senkos just don't work on 6lb test. haha. Well, I kept throwing the Pop-R and about 5 minutes later, once again, I stumbled upon a great big bed ish. Why do I always seem to ind them when I don't have my bed ishing lures? Well, I threw a senko at her and a jig, but ater I ished or her or about 10 minutes she disappeared and didn't come back or a while. So I continued on ishing with my Pop-R and caught one 12". Ater I ished that bank, I returned back to where I saw the big bed ish, and there she was about 2t rom the bank. I busted out my lippin' stick with a 3/8oz blk/blu Bass Stalker Jig w/ a big 4" twintail black w/ blue lk yammamoto grub trailer. I pitched it out beyond her and began hopping it back, then when I got it right next to her head, I thunked her in the head pretty good with it. She turned her head really quick and I saw her mouth lex but I wasn't sure i she actually ate it. Then she started swimming away and I didn't see my jig anywhere, so I set the hook and VIOLA!! What a ight too. I landed her and thought...man, this could beat my lake record! Well, lucky me now...here I am, with no scale and no one around to take a picture and by now the ranger's station is closed. So I sat there holding her in the water or what must've been 5-7 minutes trying to igure out what to do. I tried to call Aaron and tell him to get his butt over there with his scale, but he didn't answer his cell phone. So I called my riend Ken and told him that I could be holding the next lake record in my hands and to go to Wal-Mart and buy a digital scale and I could pay him back and to get over to the lake and take some pictures. haha. Well, luckily I ound a garbage can with a brand new garbage bag in it, so I swiped that out o the garbage can and illed it with water and put her in it. From that cove on the back side o the lake, I hauled her halway to cattail cove beore the bag broke. So then what I just would run her down the bank, and then hold her in the water or a while. And I kept doing that all the way to the lagoon. My shoes were pretty wet by the time i got there. haha. By now it was about 20-25 minutes ater I had caught her, and she still seemed to be doing well. I sat on the rocks at the lagoon or about 5 minutes when my riend Ken came runnin' down. He gave me the scale and I put her up on it...at irst it read 8-2...and I thought...aw come on! That can't be right! I didn't go through all o that or an 8lber!...then I took her o, and put her back on...this time it settled at 9-7...so I tried it one more time...and once again...she came in at 9-7. So close! But not quite a 10-3. Bummer! Well, I got plenty o pictures anyways, and then waded in the water a little ways and let her go...and she swam o like a champ!!! Well, ater that...I walked all the way back to the cove on the backside...because I let all o my stu hiding in a bush back there. I didn't have too much daylight let by then, and I started throwing the Pop-R again. The Pop-R action was pretty good as I proceeded to catch 4 more ish weighing 1-10, 2-2, 1-3, and 2-6. Then I called it a day!

Report: Fished the last couple o days with a party rom the Scottsdale, Az. area and I think they really enjoyed the weather. Fri we tried a little topwater but couldn't get much going so moved to the lats to work the smallies and they were pretty cooperative. with every one catching a decent ish. Sat AM we skipped the topwater and went directly ater bigger smallies. We had a great early smallmouth bite. I any o you Wyntoon campers were awakened by the sound o "COME TO DADDY" that was Hugh with his irst 3# smallie. The smallies were taking Gitzits retreived very slow on the bottom. I you aren't getting hung up a lot, you're ishing too ast. Had reports o smallies to 5# taken on nightcrawlers on main lake points hal way down the lake. The Warden I talked to on Fri. said they had seen a lot o really nice ish. The cooler temps have kept the big guys going a little later than normal.
