    Report: Launched at 6:30 pm. Finished at 8:30 pm in the dark. Lots of fish jumping all over the lake. Caught 8 fish total. Two fish up to 3 pounds were caught off of watermelon red/black flake senkos. Three kids on the boat with me and they boated 5 fish each up to 2 pounds on dartheaded aaron's magic robo and witches tea magic worms. Fishing was good for only two hours on the water.

    Tips: Cast out to points and grassy beds and tighten up the line fast. Fish are taking plastics on the drops.

    Report: There a desent bite on 15 to 17 inch bass in 3 to 15 feet of water on main body of lake long under water points are holding bass to 3 pounds. senko's brushogs and brown jigs in 1/8 oz and junebug single tail yamamoto grubs work well. not to much trouble to put 5 or 6 fish in the boat in and hour. Traffic not to bad on the weekends and water is very high bank fisherman should watch tall grass areas for snakes. Top water zara spooks and rico's are working early morning.559-673-5151-park

    Report: Well we had a mixed bag here this weekend starting with top water early and senko's by 8 am alot of bass are 1 to 2 pounds with a few to 3 but not many. Bass were in 2 to 12 feet of water and the trick is wacky worm your senko with nail weight in nose dead stick it and you will catch more fish. It drops fast but the results are deadly on the bass that are deeper. Watermelon red/black flake ( 208 ) color is been working best. Any cove with grass pockets hold bass also bigger bass are holding off long flat points. The spillway area is holding some good bass also. Lots of water and bank anglers should watch for snakes around tall grass with water been up high.Traffic is heavier on weekends. Park number is 559-673-5151

    Report: Been catching lots of 1-2 pounders on chartruse and blue spinners, also on watermelon/red brush hogs. Most fish are in 3 to 5 foot depth and are starting to hit topwater wery early. Points and coves and anywhere grass is sticking out of the water. Been catching lots of fish and having fun. Still waiting for that lunker though...

    Report: The lake here is at 85,130 acre feet now and in stable. Bass are to 3 pounds and senko,s are the bait of choice here also watermelon or watermelon red/black flake. Bass are in 3 to 10 feet of water here. The river or 5 mph area is the top area to be fishing lots of flat areas to fish there.Baby brushogs texas rigged are also working and there is some top water action going early. 559-673-5151 park.

    Report: THE FISHING HERE ALSO HAS REALLY PICK UP WITH BASS TO 3 POUNDS. SPINNERBAITS CRANKS SENKO'S AND LIZARDS AND BRUSHOGS ARE ALL GOOD BAITS TO USES HERE BASS ARE SHALLOW 3 TO 15 FEET OF WATER AND PUTTING 10 TO 15 NICE 15 TO 17 INCH BASS IN THE BOAT IS NOT MUCH OF A PROBLEM BANK FISHERMAN ARE SCORING ALSO.     Report: Senko's here are the bait of choice here also bass are starting to bed and water level is very high. The weather slowed the bite saturday as my partner and i had 13 bass nothing over 2 pounds watermelon or junebug senko's work the best. Traffic is light both durning and on the weekends watch for snakes if bank fishing.

    Report: The senko bite here is pretty much the bait of choice for spawning bass to 3 pounds. The bass are in 3 to 8 feet of water and are hitting watermelon and junebug colors. Blades are also working in the 5 mph area. Any shallow water flats are holding bassand some good cover is also holding good bass. Bank fisherman should be on the look out for rattle snakes as its starting to warm up. Lots of water and traffic is not bad on the weekends.

    Report: Saturday senko's were the choice and also junebug lizards were working on bass to 2 pounds . Bass are shallow in 5 to 18 feet and the lake level is very high and the dam area and around the campsite area are holding most of the bass here. Slow down and work these areas wacky worm was the best way to fish senko's with pegged nail weight in nose of senko colors here are junebug,watermelon red/black flake and black/blue, brown & purple bass are shallow and holding on flats and around rock piles here try the shallow brush piles here also the bass are in them.

    Report: The fishing here was been good on bass to 3 pounds but this last storm slowed them some what and the water level came up about 7 feet from last saturday. Senko's are the the bait of choice and lizards and brushogs are a close second. watermelon and junebug both work right now in water from 5 to 15 feet fine a cove you find bass in them traffic is light on weekends. SWIMBAIT FISH ARE THERE FOR PEOPLE WILLING TO TRY. There are some big bass here to be caught if anglers are willing to try no traffic means these bass are up shallow and going to stay now.

    Report: Fished here today ( sunday ) and we caught a few bass to 2 pounds. But we had to hunt for them in several spots on the lake and they were in 4 to 10 feet of water and most came on watermelon senko's with red and black flake hooked wacky worm with a small nail weight in the end of the senko. We also had 3 on lite green pumpkin 3/8 oz football head jig w/yamamoto watermelon red/black flake single tail grub as are trailers.It was a tuff day on the lake and traffic was light the bass are shallow but the storm yesterday slowed the bite. The lake is high and they are letting water out slowly.It well get better if this weather will stay nice but there morestorm on there way this week.

    Report: The bass fishing here is starting to pick up with some nice bass to 3 pounds. Baby brushogs are getting most of the bass and jigs are a close second bass are in 8 to 20 feet of water and are pretty much in every cove or on long points our around rock piles. Watermelon or junebug are the top colors for the brushogs and also junebug lizards are working. Jigs in 1/4 to 3/8 oz in lite green pumpkin with (208)watermelon red/black grubs in single tail. Traffic is light on weekends

    Report: This lake is being over looked there are some nice bass being caught here most bass are up to 2 pounds but there are a few to 5 pounds back in the the 5mph area brushogs and lizards ( junebug )also brown/purple jigs in 1/4 or 3/8 oz with cinnamon/purpleflake single or twin tail yamamoto grub works on bass down to 15 feet of water. Around rock piles and also the base of trees and brush piles are all holding fish. Some anglers are dragging there lures.The bass are in 8 to 20 feet of water and well stay in that range now till spawn. The weather is still off and on through the week so check before going to this or eastman lake the wild at both lake is very tuff this time of year.

    Report: Kerman bass club will be on the lake early saturday morning with about 20 boats.Black/blue jigs are working on bass to 2 pounds also brushogs in watermelon red/blake flake are also working on carolina rig.Rock piles and humps also points are holding fish. Water clarity is stained and bite may be slowed the the new storm friday. check ahead before hit this lake.

    Report: Here a lake that i shouldnt over look because of eastman. There are some nice 15 to 18 inch bass been caught out of here up to 3 pounds and brushhogs are the bait that is catching most of the fish here. Watermelon & watermelon red/black flake are the colors to use here also. brown jigs in 1/4 & 3/8 oz with a single tail yamamoto watermelon or watermelon red/black flake grub work well. The bass here are in 12 to 25 feet of water and are holding to rock piles and points next to deeper water. the dam area on the ranger station side is holding some nice bass as is the 5mph area just before the bouy line on both sides. Traffic is very light on weekends and warmer weather is ahead this lake could be a sleeper for swimbait fisherman.

    Report: Fishing here is starting to pick up with bass between 15 to 17 inches long up in 8 to 20 feet of water. brown jigs with watermelon single tail ( yamamoto ) work well. 1/4oz bullet or 3/8oz football head jigs both work also baby brushogs in watermelon or watermelonred/black flake also work. carolina rig brushogs are working on bass to 2 pounds. Try the backs of coves & rock piles also points and humps are all good right now at this lake. Fish slow and pick and area that has good structure and there will be fish on it. Flats near the dam are also hold fish spinnerbaits early in the morning & some crankbait fish are showing citrus shad color cranks are working in deaths of 10 to 15 feet of water off of humps and rock piles.

    Report: Bass fishing here is also pick up now with some fish hitting 3 pounds. Fish are in 10 to 25 feet of waterand the backs of coves are warming up and some bass are coming up shallow jigs in brown or brown /purple are working well. Also brushogs are also working here and lizards shouldnt be far behind and also spinnerbaits should start here soon.Again pick and area and work it well.

    Report: This could be a very good week for this lake to pick up on the fishing. bass are in the 13 to 15 inch range 1 to 2 1/2 pound range with a few going to 3 pounds. Brown jigs with watermelon yamamoto single tail grubs are working around rock piles and long points with deeper water near by. Brushogs jigs dropsoht are all working so pick one and fish slow and again pick and area you like and say with it these bass will hit. 15 to 30 feet are your best depths to fish here.
