    Report: I got to Hensley at 9am to ind the lake has turned over.Fished exposed islands by the dam.Caught 5 ish on 1/8oz darthead worm.Biggest ish 15 inches.

    Tips: Fish slow.All my bites came when I put slack in my line.Feel or a tick or weight o the ish.Baits:6" Crayish color Don Iovino worm,6"Keeper gold worm

    Report: Started out on the water at 04:00 a.m. pitchin jigs at dam ace partner hooked one on black spinner bait I hooked up with a jig just a couple o casts latter Tom kept hooking up on every other cast so I changed over to black spinner bait we hooked 20 ish in about 2 hours rom 1 to 3 pounds ater sun came out ish got smaller. Moved up lake ound some deep water about 18 eet close to the bank and caught about 15 more ish using a jig head with 7 inch power worm teq.

    Tips: Black spinner baits at night with ull moon on structure. Early morning rock piles with shad color worms.

    Report: Puddle????? Everyone keeps saying Hensley is a mudhole.....yeah its low but the bass dont seem to mind.Hell less water same amount o ish

    Tips: This lake is still the same lake its always been,high water or low water this is still one o my avorite lakes.

    Report: Fished rom 4am to 10am.Caught 12 ish on Spooks and 1/4oz Brown jig with Yamamoto grub.Very good bite until 10am.

    Tips: Twitch the Spook a ew times and then deadstick it or 5 to 10 seconds, ish hit it when it just sat there.

    Report: Evening and night ishing or bass is best right now. The water is going down, be careul! I you ish early, start with Rebel Pop-R's or Spooks. During the day drag a Green Weenie worm. In the evening throw topwater including buzzbaits. You can always lip the trees with Senkos and Baby Brush Hogs in watermelon or decent sized ish.

    Report: Went out Friday morning and evening, also Monday evening. Fish seem to be cruising early and late just about everywhere and tight to structure in or near deeper water when surace temps rise. Getting about 2 ish per hour to 3 1/2 lbs. no matter what time o day. Not too many dinks. Caught ish on Spinnerbaits, Cranks, top water, Grubs, Senkos, depending on area and time o day. Lots o un when its not too hot!!!

    Tips: Use anything anywhere early and late, Try to cover all water. Once it heats up, Senkos on any shadowed Structure or tree shadows over 10' Try transition areas all the way to the shallows as it gets later in the evening. Bring sunblock and bug spray.

    Report: Hensley is heating up. Fish are up in the shallows to about 13' o water. Fished spinners and jigs or a 17 ish day, also got a ew on brush hogs. Most ish were keepers a ew 17-20". Water is rising ast. Might want to get out and see the terain beore its covered. You can inds lots o exposed beds. Bite tapered o at dark. caught ish all day, but the bite is starting to swing towards early and late, with the temperature rising.

    Tips: spinnerbaits in the weeds and jigs in the trees, points drop os and creek channels.

    Report: Weather was cloudy and cold, only 4 boats on the lake. Fished all morning with jigs not one ish. About noon went to crank baits and located ish in shallow water. One largemouth 15" and a couple smaller ones.

    Report: Had a good cold winter bite at Hensley. Between the two o us we had about a dozen ish on jigs. We also had two nice crappie on grubs. When it was getting dark I hooked to on a crank. Water is coming up and i you ind one ish stay with the spot, you can normally get a limit o o a place that you have hooked a ish. A real spungie bite!!

    Tips: Fish slow with hops in between. People who dont ish in the winter time are really missing out on some good winter ishing.

    Report: Started ishing at 6:00 PM. Found my avorite rock pile and tossed a 4" green weenie. Caught two 1.5 pounders. Switched to a crawdad colored crank bait. Got a 2 pounder and then hook a nice ish. He ound the cable holding the marker bouy in place on my submerged rock pile. He shook loose beore I could unwind the line rom the cable. Did not have any luck ater it got dark.

    Report: Very tough ishing. Fished or about 3 hours out o my tube. The lake is the lowest i've ever seen it. It was also very muddy. Tried mostly reaction lures such as spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Caught 2, both about 2 pounds in shallow water no deeper than 5 eet. Very tough ishing. Lots o baitish.

    Tips: Reaction lures over the tops o islands.

    Report: Started ishing at 5 PM catching 1-2lb'rs o main lake points with Tennessee Shad color LuckyCrat rattle traps. Cought 4 ater dark, missed 4 more, all on traps. Nothing on plastic, senkos, jerk baits or top water. Winds were 10-12 until dark, then DEAD CALM. Water was glass. Moon was ull and bright.

    Tips: throw rattle traps on main lake points with rock. BEWARE: lake is extreamly LOW and threre are "tops" popping up everywhere.

    Report: Fished rom 5pm to 9:30pm. Caught 15-18 ish on Senkos, topwater (over rocks)and jerk baits (next to bank) in and around trees and brush inside the 5 mi. area. No real size, mostly 1-2lbs. Bite shut o at dark. NO TOP AT ALL !!! Hmmmm??? Wind was 10-12 until dusk, then 3-5.

    Tips: DEAD STICK SENKOS at base o trees and isolated brush. Take bug repelant or night time.

    Report: A wierd day. Went to the south part o the lake to start 2:00pm. Split shotting with various colors. No bites, no ish. Move into a cove with lots o cover, trees, grass real good cove. Got my irst stike on a texas rig..ish on..ish o.The only word I can use is subtle bite..very tentitive. Both my son and I had a couple bites but not serious.Moved to the edge o the dam and caught about 12 1-2Lbs using 4' texas green & brown pro worms & salt n pepper 6' again you had to really watch the line. The bites were almost unrecognizable. My son struggled a bit losing lots o rigs in the rocks.Moved rom dam back to where the water comes in untill dark a ew bites ater that...a storm ront moving in ish moved to deep water....mostly.

    Tips: Stay in control o the worm at all times...Keep it moving slow as possible without it hitting the bottom. Colors green & brown 4' keep your hands clean. set with any resistence.

    Report: Got on the water at approx 12:30 pm on a beautiul day(temp almost 70)with no wind and a slight breeze. Fished in the 5 MPH zone early on without any good results(caught one ish in approx 35 eet). Moved back onto the main lake and ished the large island on the Buck Ridge side. Picked up three ish to 1 1/2 lbs drop shoting in 35 to 40 eet. I was using Pro Worms cinn/blue 4" worm. Moved over to the rocky points on the day use side o the lake and continued to drop shot in 35/40 eet using a variety o small 4 1/2 to 5 inch worms. Had the best luck on Magic Worms in Rythem and Blue. Put 13 more ish in the boat and had three more come unbuttoned. No real size (largest 2.2 lbs with a couple o 1 1/2 lbs and the rest clones at 1 lb).

    Tips: Use your sonar. Look or ish and anything that even looks like it might be a ish. They are right on the bottom and i you believe your graph you can catch them.

    Report: well was at it again and low and behold the crank master does it again.got to the lake late at 9:00am i tosted sot plastics no good pitced jigs no good put out my good old buddy {berkeley green pertch}crank bait and he!ha!! bass in the boat.well the down side is that cold day's are comming and the ish are getting smaller. but i did bring home a 10" dink to study in my home tank i will take him back in 30 days ater i test some new bait's on him will keep you all posted. remmber catch and relese.!!!!!!!!

    Tips: all way's ish the northern banks and cove's ist in the am's and then work your way out. this lake will be hot or cold.
