Water Temp: haven't the sli
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from shore on 2nd boat ramp. Used 4 lb line w/a bobber & 1/2 worm. Caught (and released) a couple of keepers of largemouth. Had a big one break the line...big boy still has the hook & trailing a bobber. Keep an eye out for him. Hope he doesn't get hung up somewhere. He fought hard on my ultra-lite & deserves to swim around & get even bigger. Even caught a crappy crappie. Ugly fish. Lake's coming up daily.
City: VisaliaTips: Have fun. Don't crowd the other fishers..... Sometimes the silliest setups will surprise you w/catching results.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished at Slick Rock and caught a 2 pound bassjust under 15" on a silver kastmaster trolling it really slow at noon when I was fishing for trout. Had another huge bite about 20 mins later. Assumed it was a HUGE BASS 12 plus pounds. Got away because it muscled me when it went deep towards the submerged trees. Cussed the rest of the day!
City: LemooreTips: If fishing anywhere around the lake especially on the banks, remember what the countours of the area are because when the water rises, you'll know where the trees, drop-offs, or rocks are at and almost guarantee a fish a week later.

Slow roll about 4 feet from shore & wham, they were hitting it hard. No big fish, our best went 4.1lb. but it sure was fun. 14 other keepers 15-17 inches & about 20 dinks. Water Temp: 66-70
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got on the water around 6:45 a.m. Headed to Greasy Cove. My buddy Todd got the first fish on a 4" smoke texas rigged in about 4' of water. Fish were few and far between. Saw shad but nothing chasing them. Tried throwing a crank and a jerk, but nothing. Switched to a 6" Roboworm Margarita Mutilator color, texas rigged with a 2/0 bleeding red hook. Fish responded with a few more bites. Ended up getting 5 small fish to my partner's 4, SORRY TODD.....It was a beautiful day on the water for this time of year. Had a lot of fun. Even over the bitchin' of my partner saying that I back ended him all day and had him fishing for birds in the trees he was so close to the bank....."Face it son, I finally beat you...FAIR AND SQUARE!!!!"....Let me enjoy it for once cause it'll probably never happen again!
City: AtascaderoTips: Fish slow....wait for 'em to take it cuz there's a lot of small fish just playing....not really committing to much at all....still a lot of fun just being able to fish in shorts this time of year....
