Report: Went in the afternoon. Caught a lot of little fish on RattleTraps and Senkos. Caught two in the 15 inch range in 20 feet of water on a shad colored Rattletrap.

Tips: Anything that looks like a shad will work. Senkos produce a lot of small bass in the 10 to 12 inch range.

Report: Pretty much the same pattern as before. 27 bass on Wednsday morning. They are starting to hit shad more frequently. I give it two weeks and they will be busting the top in huge schools.
    City: Corcoran

Tips: Dropshot, crawdads, or minnows. Crankbait caught a couple. Just have to watch out for boaters who don't have enough respect to drive by you out of casting range.

Report: Fished the river feeding the lake starting at slick rock at 7 AM. Walked the length of the river till about 9 AM. Seems that there is are too many people using this area for swimming and the fish are gone. Caught a pair of baby bass on a rooster tail. When I say baby bass, I mean babys, 2-4 inches! The water in the lake is lower now than I've seen in a while at this time of year.
    City: Visalia

Tips: Don't bother fishing the river feeding the lake, leave this area for swimming famlies and drunks.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: First time here since late fall of last year, lake looked good, started at 6:00am. Started near slick rock caught first fish on a senko just a small spot. I was able to catch three more before the sun had come up over the mountains. Two spots and one largemouth that would have went around a pound, nothing real big, these fish were caught on lizards. The wind picked up pretty bad, my partner was able to pull out a 2 pound largemouth, and then we headed to the dam. We couldn't get bite at the dam so we headed back to slick rock area, and fished a couple more hours with nothing they turned off, went back to the dam and was able to get one more spot, finished the day with only seven small fish. Oh well it was still fun, Good Luck!!
    City: Coalinga

Tips: All fish were caught in 10 feet or less, maybe the big ones are a little deeper. I just don't think this lake has turned on yet, I will be back in a month or so.
