Report: My dad and I hit the water around noon on Sunday. Fished the shore with cranks and spinerbaits w/ no success. Dad caught one ish, 2lb, on a light brown worm carolina rigged. Fished shore till 2 or 3, than gave up. We travled to the noth end o the lake to hit the crappie. We endded with 12 ish caught on shad colored cranks, I caught a 3.5lb bass, a 3lb crappie, and several in the 2.5 range. Dad caught a 5lb sqawish(trash),and several crappie, 2.5.Monday was hard the wind picked up and NO bass hit. We tried the crappie early,1 or 2 o'clock, ound one small school o three ish. We got all 3 to hit, but with only two people only landded two, both 1.5. Fished a little longer than turned inearly, about 3.
    City: Scotts Valley

Tips: All ish were at w/ eggs. Try pre-spawn patterns, and don't. Soon it will be spring!!!!!!!!! I you can't buy a bite try the the crappie. Fish the north end, trolling shad-raps or other slim, wiggling cranks in a shad color. Fish are out in deeper water try to ind the creekchannel i you can't ind it, weave through the bouys. Good Luck, or "skill" whatever you call it.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started at 7:30 the wind was howling down the lake coming rom the north. Thats where I started with my partner, we started throwing jerkbaits up by the weeds. Not to long ater, I got the irst ish it was a 2 pound smallmouth. What a ish we were excited thinking we were going to have a great day, but the wind had not let up it was just getting stronger. So we tried to battle it, think again it was just to strong. So we went down the lake a little bit and actually ound some calm water, but that did not last long however my partner was able to get a smallmouth that went 2 pounds. From there we went to Harris Creek knowing that would be the place to hide rom the 40 mph winds that were blowing all day. Looked good where we were ishing but ished that cove pretty hard, and inally my partner hooked up with a 2.4 largemouth. Ater that we decided to call it a day. Not a day where caught alot o ish but one that we did not give up on and tried hard.
    City: Coalinga

Tips: Fish reaction baits ish are in shallower water, but the wind has to cooperate or the water gets a little to stirred up. Try plastics later in the day when that sun is high. No matter i there is wind or not try to just go somewhere you are able to make casts, because i you have your line wet you will get one. Good Luck!!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished San Antonio on and o or our days. Final count was two largemouth and two smallmouth. Three o the total our were on Saturday. Largemouth took 3/8 ounce black jigs in tight to trees in coves on the south shore. One smallmouth(10") at three ingers on a 6" motor oil ribbon tail. The other smallmouth on a point just west o the main launch. She weighed around 2 1/2 and was un to catch. I had to make about 10 passes and hook and lose her once beore I actually got her. She didn't like my jig(3/8 oz. black) on her bed and I wasn't giving up until i got her to the boat. Quite an experience. I also hooked and lost one at the very back o Harris Creek.

Didn't catch anything else or the rest o the day. Threw crankbaits, jigs and dropshot but no luck. All ish were caught on a rip bait. Pete caught a ish that was probably like 4lbs but we didn't know what it was. It wasn't a striper or a carp, it looked like a trout but it wasn't. It was a good day on the water.
