      Water Temp: 58.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Cold air temp most of the day.
Fish following bait. Find the bait drop a spoon.
Lots of stripers at 50 to 60 ft. Wide open when you find them.
Largies on reaction baits in the morning. Rip and run shad baits along shore and on points for keepers.
      best bite 3:00 to 4:15
deep spooning and drop shot secondary points in fishig arm.
      Best fish 3-4 lbs dropshotting.
      City: reseda

Tips: study the graph. Find the deep fish and spoon away
as water warms the largies move up on warm rocks and eat the 4 1/2 inch worms. Shake then deadstick, watch the belly in the line. suttle twitch and it walks away like nightcrawler fishing. None of the bites were hard not even the bigger fish.
Trying small jigs and bigger worms tomorrow.

      Water Temp: Cold

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Water is still falling pretty steadily. Castaic is starting to look like mini Lake Powell! Kind of cool though cause if you wait a week to fish it's like a brand new lake! Fishing is still good, guided there three times in the last week. We have been catching 10-15 solid largies and striper at will. When the water stops falling it is going to go bonkers..

      Water Temp: 52

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: My partner and I fished from 3:30pm-6:00pm and got out before the rain. We targeted a couple of rocky points in front of the dam as you head into greasy cove. Fished 20-30' deep and slow. Caught 9 fish with two identical 3lbers. Not to bad for only a few hours.
      City: Exeter

Tips: We threw brown/green and watermelon jigs with yamamoto smoke/red flake twin tail grubs. We worked them as slow as possible. Don't know what anyone else is throwing out there.

Tips: Jig bite was very subtle and slow presentation yielded better results.

Report: Lake is droping slow and there was a trout plant last week here smiller bass in the 12 to 14 inch range here are hit just about anything you throw drop shot and jigs/yamamoto trailers have been working here the best. Bass are in 20 to 35 feet of water here and dropoffs creek channels and points are holding most of the fish. Traffics lighter here on weekends. 559-673-5151
      City: kerman ca

Tips: Slow down here also it could be a sleepier lake for swimbaits here. Lots of islands and humps in this lake with the water level at this time of year it is now. Rain could be a factor here in some bigger fish.

Report: Not a very pleasent report today. Headed to Lopez for the ABA tourney and Empire from Bkf;d was also on hand with about 12 boats and ABA epecting about 30+. Wasn't sure what happened but only 7 boats showed. Heard WONBass had something in San Antonio so figure the posted entry fees made already went out the window for them.

Anyway -- I hooked up with a partner at the last minute got the use of a boat and we headed out for what I hoped was a good day. NOT! Motor failed to keep runing and we never made it out of the marinaso we trailered it and I headed home. BUMMER and a $$ loss of cash today for entry fees. Hope everyone had a better day.
