Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: My partner Brett Woodward and I caught eleven ish. One early crank ish o the spillway, one worm ish o the spillway, and the rest were sight ish. The water's real high and clear. The wind was nill, so sight ishing was the ticket. Saw lots o ish...there were some giants...absolute slobs...hanging around the boat dock and the pod o planted trout. The two ish we say had to have been in the high 'teens. They looked like tunas they were so round. Anyway, the ish we caught were healthy and judging by the ish we spooked and saw, Lake Poway is solid. The high water will make it a new lake when the grass grows up to the surace...Flippin, pitchin, roggin, rippin...In San Diego County!
City: IrvineTips: Sight ish...gitzitscranks...at-ree shadsworms...eight inch otay and choc.blue neon! The log boom is moved so you have to search or the "irst tank" rockpile. We didn't get bit o the darned thing. It's pretty killer to ish whole new areas o the lake! Good Luck

Water Temp: High 50's to lo
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out to Bass Lake on both Saturday and Sunday. On Sat., went with a riend who likes the cold water style o ishing. Caught a ton o Kokes, and noticed that the water was pretty warm and looked "bassy". Decided to go back on Sunday with my bass boat and give it a crack. First things were irst, I took my two and one hal year old son with me, so we had to catch a mess o bluegill (some were huge!) beore we could bass ish. Once the 'gillin was out o the way, I got some bass ishing in. Spots were biting hard and ast, with most o them coming rom about ten oot o water o secondary points and in deep creviced coves. Keeper 4" worm, in the Bass Lake colors (clear salt and pepper with short chartruce tail).
City: FresnoTips: Keeper 4" worms in clear salt and pepper with bright chartruce tails. Shake 'em ast and the spots will hammer 'em.

Report: Fished with my Dad rom 9am-4pm.I caught and released 12 spots rom 1.5- 3.0 lbs . Mainly ished the Willow Cove area, since my ather doesn't like to move around much.Tried all kinds o plastics or 2hrs.,not one solid hit, so I went to nightcrawlers.Had to drag these Carolina style( only 3/8 oz. weight ) across the hard sandy points , in 5-20 eet o water.Bite was tentative. From the depth , seems like pre-spawn . Lots o un , the ish ought past their weight, the weather was great, and so was the company.
City: ClovisTips: A better plastics isherman than me could probably clean up on those sandy points...not much happening in the rocks...good luck to CBC isherman next Saturday.

Report: The bass are on!!Fishing in 1-5t o water, rom shore, on the upper lake, the bass are in ull spawn activity. I've never seen so many bass in one place, at one time, and so close to shore, ever beore in my lie. there must have been 3 schools o 12-20 inch bass. in each school, there were at least 30 ish. I tried down shotting and even small bite sized crayish, placed under there noses, but could not get a bite. Finally i re-tied, a split shot presentaion with a reaper and 1/4 oz slip shot. that did the trick! the strikes came on "the all". the best spots are the least disturbed!!!thats all I'm saying or now. the bites still on and I dont want everyone ishing it out. send E-mail to lurelord@yahoo.com or exact location. (boat traic is prohibited in this area, but, is close to ramp)hope this ino helps.john

Report: Fished rom irst light untill 2:00 p.m.. My partner and I had nonstop action! We caught 25+ bass and 6 slab crappies. We through spinnerbaits in the morning and lukes ater that. It seemed every point and back end o a cove held ish. Biggest ish was only about 3+, but the quantity sure made up or the quality. Caught the crappie on hot pink and white tubes in the trees. Basically, it was a good o ishing, and much overdue!!!
City: KingsburgTips: Worked spinnerbaits and lukes just under the surace. Tried to keep it within eyesight. The crappie were caught vertical jigging in 20 t. o water over trees.

Water Temp: 64
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: STARTED MY DAY AT 5:30AM AND BOATED 19 KEEPERS LARGEST ONE AT JUST 4.2LBS BUT THAT DID NOT BOTHER ME AT ALL. ALL WERE TAKEN AROUND DUCES BOAT DOC ON GOLD BLADE SPINNER BAITS. FIRST TIME ON BASS LAKE BUT IS WAS A MESS OF FUN. MY STYLE WAS VERY SIMPLE SLOW ROLLED SPINNER OVER ROCK PILES AND UNDER DOC COVER THIS PRODUCED MANY FLASH STRIKES. I GOT MAYBE 6 FISH RIGHT AFTER THE BAIT HIT THE WATER.
City: OAKLANDTips: GOLD BLADE SPINNER BAIT WITH CHARTRUESE SKIRT WORKED VERY WELL FOR ME. AGAIN IT IS IMPORTANT TO RETREIVE SPINNER AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE WHILE BANGING SOME STRUCTURE AND BOTTOM ALONG THE WAY.WATER IS ONLY 4-13 FEET AROUND DOC AREA 3/8 OUNCE WILL DO THE TRICK.

Water Temp: 62
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished Casitas Sunday evening or hal an hour, all day Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 9-11. Son, John, ishing rom shore Sunday evening, caught a 4 lb. Bass on a buzz bait in a oot o water near shore on North side o Wadleigh Arm. That ish kept us rom being skunked, as we got no urther hits during 20 hours o ishing rom a rental boat. The water was very clear, 62 degrees. We saw literally dozens o ish rom one to seven pounds lazily cruising beneath the boat. They reused all our presentations, including everything rom 2-inch white grubs to split-shot and drop-shot 4
Tips: I your goal is just to catch some ish, even dinks, try small white curl-tail grubs or 4-inch worms on 4-6 lb. Flourocarbon line. I you'd preer to catch larger ish, you might try a wacky-worm or Hannon's swimming worm method (neither o which I tried, but they might work where other, more conventional methods ailed miserably).

Threw a Fluke but would not go on it. Used jigs, and 4" worms. 6" worms were getting there tails taken o. Good Pre-spawn bite. Nothing over 3.0 but we did not ish or the early spawn ish.
City: ClovisTips: 4" worm with red lake. brown jigs with green trailer. go slow as the ish seem to just know its there and they will come.
