      Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

      Report: Fished Tahkenitch on the 27th. from 5am-4pm in all caught 7, snapped one off, and missed one blow-up on grass frog. 1 Creature bait fish, 1 Crankbait fish, 2 on Spinnerbait, and three on Senco's. Biggest was 3.8. best five was approx. 12.7. No pattern. Fishing was kind of tough (I thought) so we went to Siltcoos on Sunday.

      Report: Fished sat. and sun. with a slow bite. Caught fish on senkos and buzzbaits. I also managed to catch a fish on a swimbait on the tressles during the few minutes i fished on friday. My best 5 on sat was a little over 16lbs and sunday was a little over 12. mainly fished the edge of creek channels and pads on sat. and fished docks on sunday. Unfortunitly i was not able to get to the same spot on sunday as i fished on sat. but was told the bite wasn't really happening up there anyways. The buzzbait bites were few and far between but when a fish did come up on them i had to hold on because they were all big fish.

      Tips: BE PATIENT! I fished two spots on sat. and knew that there were good fish in those spots. I only caught 6 fish on saturday but they were all good quality. If you pick up a fish in a certain spot dont be afraid to leave it and hit it up again every hour, it works. oh almost forgot i was using 8lb test on the senkos.

      Report: I dont know about any turkey shoots or small tourneys sorry,but i did head out to emigrant on sunday and did find a pretty go bite for mid summer. Caught several top water fish and plenty of plastic fish. i threw a swimmbait for about an hour and a half with nothin not even a follower, but thats how swimmbaits go. Biggest fish was just under 5 pounds and my best 5 was 15pounds.

      Report: Fishing was great, went out about 4:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. and caught 18 fish. Pitched purple yamamoto kreature bait into cover, around docks and 5'-10' submerged structure, but did best pitching along lilly patches. Most were about 1-2lbs, biggest was 4lbs.

      Report: Caught 4 fish, biggest a little over 5 lbs. Caught two 4 pounders and 1 two pounder. Fishing was a bit slow and had a cold front come in that lasted about half the day. Fish came off spinner baits and senko's. Fished mostly wood all day and some lilly's.

      Report: My 4 fear old girl got her first bass from a pond in California while we were on vacation. She got a 14" largemouth on a 4.5" brown drop shot worm at 2:30 PM. She was pretty jacked up and I was sure proud of her. Thank God one of our friends fishing with us had his camera with him and took 6 pictures. His 9 year old daughter
      scored her first bass also on a dropshot red worm. I got my first Chatterbait fish at the same pond earlier in the week- looked like a clone of hers!

      Report: Hello there, I just got a kick reading the newer reports, because I just realized that dip-shit was talking to me! ME! A sixteen year old kid, looking for some fun fishing around this fine state I've grown to love. Further more, that posting was close to three years ago! If you're still pissy about it it's time for you to get over it, if you have just recently been affended by my presense in this state, than, you have clearly not been contributing to this site. If it is the latter, and seeing as you are ASS, please either be productive or refrain from using this site. I would like to, also, mention that at no time in my posting did I ask personally for any "good spots or tips" only for an increased use of this site - Ya don red yursef good, how far did you get in school? I would like to appologize to the general community for even responding to Matt here and not in the forum, but I would like to point out that he and his predjudice views are what is inherently wrong with our society, and the reason we, as Americans, are hated. So, for the sake of everyone around you don't be an ass - you accomplish nothing! Matt, you have failed at even angering me, seeing as I have written all of this with a smile on my face - you are are an idiot! I would, however, like to thank both Marcus and John for defending me and this state, they are good people, as are most Oregonians! Thanks You all and good luck fishing!

      Report: Fished from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. started the moring slow pitching senkos, switched to baby bass small spoon rapala by noon and the bite really picked up, throwing along weed lines, docks and in to cover, all strikes were impulse from 1'to5' water, caught 4 good size fish from 3 to 4lbs. and had a huge strike from a bass that must have been 6-7lb. missed him damn!, went back out sunday and had a repeat day.

      Report: Got onto the bank of the Columbia at around 11am and started throwing 3" pearl blue grubs with a shiny 1/4 ounce head and a steady retrieve keeping it about 2 feet from the surface and ended up catching 33 smallmouth before 4pm. The fishing dropped off at around 2pm. Switched grubs to a split green and brown color and also caught some on that. The largest I caught was around 20", let it go because it was full of eggs. Caught another around 18", BBQ that one. I did lose another nice one, probably 16-18" - shook my hook when it was about 3 feet from me. I'm going back in a couple of weeks.

      Tips: I'm a bank fisher because I'm poor. I cast and retrieve while I walk around the bank until I get a fish, then I hang out there and fan back and forth in all directions until I don't catch anything. Then it's time to move around again. GOOD LUCK.

      Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

      Report: Been fishing the channel between lakes; finding an average size of 1.25lbs. Fishing Senko-Style worms and catching all fish on the initial drop. Don't seem to pick it up once it's moved. Caught/Released 7 fish in 4 hours.
      City: Reedsport, OR

      Tips: Bass still aren't very agressive in the channel, although I know some sweet spots around the lake where they very well may be.

      Report: Opening weekend, clear, 60 degees outside. Fished from about 7am till noon. Caught 2 nice 4lb largemouths in the main arm leading into the damn. Had another fish aprox 6lbs follow my swim bait right to the boat. 2 bites 2 fish! Great day for the first day on the water!

      Tips: Fish are stacked up in the main body and not back in the shallows yet! Staging in deep water 10-15' off main points and near channels.
