Report: With ino. that the ishing was good on the 23rd and a good moon cycle, I headed up to Amador or the Big One. Started about 8pm and ished hard. Finally about midnight, swimming a 10" power worm, I boated my irst Amador 10 pounder. Unortunately, it had whiskers. I guess with a little ront coming through, a bit o cloud cover and water temp dropping, the bass said "not tonight" Fished till about 2:30am, not a bass bite all night. Caught a couple o huge crappie in 25' o water on a rocky point split shottin' 3" shad grub. Long drive home at 3am w/no bass!

Report: Launched out o Tower Park Marina at 8 with the wind blowing pretty hard. Fished Beaver Slough with no ish seen at the mouth, midway, or ar in. Other boats had same experience. Ran down to Disappointment, and ished Senkos, loating pink worms, lukes, white spinners, brush hogs, 5" tube Texas rigged, rattle traps and speed traps. Tried tight in tullies, inside and outside weedline, and on the rip-rap. Pulled one 1-1/2 pounder rom the tullies. Only a couple o other bites all day. Ran into one boat that said they had gotten "15-20, using this and that". I guess we never did ish "painully slow", like some o you have suggested.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I took mysel to Collins today and though I didn't catch a big one, I did catch 22 bass - 18 spots and 4 largemouth. What impressed me was the quality o the spots - averaging about 2 lbs each. Biggest was pushing 3 lbs. I ished all over the main body, but caught most on the east shore. It was a very warm day and the bite started in earnest about 1 PM. Saw one giant bass in a tree, but there were no big bass on beds. Caught a ew on Power Tubes, but most on Senkos in brush. They seems to be in shadows o trees and brush.
      City: Yuba City

Tips: I was using the popular #194 Senko, but the top producer was a new color - #301. They really ate that one - even hit it sometimes. All bass were 1 to 10 eet.
