Water Temp: 59-60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hit the water at 1:30pm. Started throwing 4" worms and stuck a 3lber in the back cove. Went to the spillway and hit two dinks. Then started fishing the main lake across from the boat launch. Hit one 2lber and one 4lber on the 4" worm. Then decided to throw a jig for the last 30 minutes and stuck a good 4 1/2. Tried cranking and ripping to no avail. Threw a blade for a good hour and nothing. Got a tourney this weekend so I won't be back here until next week. Hope the water clears up.
City: san joseTips: Purple jig with a roboworm trailer got the big fish. 4" robo worm dark brown caught the others. The big fish came in the 15-20' range, dinks came in the 1-5' range. Good amount of wind blowing.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Was ishing or largemouth rom 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Nothing. You can see them in 2 to 3 oot o water (Pre spawn), but will not bite anything!!. Even dropped a healthy nightcrawler about 1 inch away rom its ace...did not bite, started to back o. These ish are diinitley not hungry thats or sure. I tried black plastic worms, crank bait, even nightcralers with no luck. Will try back early April.
City: LakewoodTips: May try waiting til late March or early April. Dragging black or crayish colored 6 inch plastic worms over there nesting area may work well in early April. Set your hook ast because they will drop your plastic once they get it away rom there nest.

Water Temp: 55-58
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went to Pudd and caught only two, But rom a recent report rom my riend Richard Hernandez he ished the lake the 10 and 11th and said that the bass are starting to get on beds. He also nailed a huge 9.3 while sight ishing a bed. Most anglers are inding the ish near structure, But as the end o March approaches, I think the spawn will be in ull swing.
City: OntarioTips: Roboworms or lie like plastics are the best plastics or the lake. Another technique is ishing a Yo-Zuri Pins Minnow when ishing beds. I'd ish the coves at Puddingstone. Their are 4 major coves aroud the lake just use a map to spot them.

Report: No I did not ish but I was there or the weigh in and there were some hogs, irst place was on blades, 5 ish or 26 lbs. I did not catch the color or size, I think that was by design. Fish are shallow in ront o tulies and in the tulies. The winning team said that they caught the ish up on the north end o the lake.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got out there around 11:30 A.M. today. I ished rom the Channel Pt. dock all day. Started o throwin' a spinnerbait and a speed trap to pick up any active ish. Nothin'. So, I switched over to a 3/8oz blk/blu Bass Stalker Jig w/ a blk w/ blu lk Zoom Super Chunk trailer. I started lipping shallow into tules thinking that the bass had already moved up shallow to spawn. Made about 10 lips beore something in my head says..."Flip the outside edge o the weedline." So I give a lip into about 10' o water on the outside edge o the weeds. Then I hear in my head..."Now crawl it SLOWLY." So I crawl it along the bottom as slow as I possibly can or 4'. Then I hear in my head "Now deadstick it!!" So I immediatly stop and just sit there or nearly 30 seconds! Then I picture in my head a bass inhaling my jig o the bottom, and at that very second...THUNK! I set the hook and pull in a 3# largie. It was like I could picture in my head the whole thing. I could see my jig crawling along, then sitting there, then a bass just inhaling it. It was great. 2nd ish came later in the day when there was another guy on the dock. He had asked me..."So have you ever tried this new rig called a drop-shot rig that I've been hearing so much about?" And I says..."Ya, actually, I was just thinkin' about doin that." So, I grab the spinnin' rod, and show him how to set up a drop-shot rig. I put a 4" rootbeer colored yammamoto worm on with a little split-shot or the weight. Then, he asked me how to ish it. And so I go over to the edge o the dock, drop it down, and I says..."Ok, here's what ya do." So I reel in the slack, and literally 1 second later...tap tap! And I set the hook, smile at him, and say..."Just like that." haha. And I pull in a 2# bass. The guy was like..."DANG! I heard that was a good rig, but...MAN!" haha. It was classic. d:o)
City: AntiochTips: Right now the bass are on the outside edge o the weeds just waiting or the water to warm or them to move in and spawn. I'm probably gonna go out there tomorrow with my riend in his boat...we oughtta SLAY 'em! Oh ya...and...GO WITH YOUR GUT! It pays o!

Report: WENT FISHING WITH FATHER IN LAW TODAY, LAUNCHED AT 11:00 A.M. STARTED IN THE CANYON NARROWS WITH 4 INCH 082 RED FLAKE WORM AND FISHED IT ALL DAY. CAUGHT 58 FISH BETWEEN THE 2 OF US, IN 2 TO 15 FT. OF WATER, LITE BITE TODAY FISH WOULD PICK UP THE BAIT AND COME OUT TO THE BOAT WITH IT, WE DIDNT EVEN KNOW MOST OF THE FISH WERE THERE UNTIL WE SAW OUR LINE MOVING. BIG FISH WAS 2.25, ABOUT 25% OF FISH WERE BLACKS WITH THE REST THOSE FUN FIGHTING SPOTTS. HEADED FOR THE MARINA AT 4:45.
City: MODESTOTips: LET THE BAIT SIT FOR 10 TO 15 SECONDS AFTER THE CAST BEFORE MOVING IT, SEEMS MOST FISH CAME IN THAT TIME. THIS TIME OF YEAR IS VERY IMPOTANT TO OUR FISH POPULATION SO CATCH AND RELEASE IS A MUST.LET THE FISH GO WHERE YOU CAUGHT THEM AND DONT TRASNSPORT THEM ALL OVER THE LAKE BEFORE RELEASING THEM. HAVE FUN AND REMEMBER THE SUNSCREEN!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched at Capell Cove and started fishing with 9 year old Son. Rigged up a Carolina Rig Plastic worm with a bullet sinker 3 ft. from the worm. Proceeded to cast about 30 ft off shore. Within a minute of launching hooked into a 2 pound Small mouth. Handed the ploe over to my Son and the fight was on. My Son had a blast reeling it in. The Bass broke the surface and everyone by the launch ramp was watching. My Son was sooooo proud of the fight. Released the Bass right after he reeled it in. About 2 minutes later hooked into another 2 pounder. 20 minutes later my Son hooked a 1.5 pound Large Mouth. Great day for 2 hours fishing.
City: SuisunTips: Carolina Riggin Plastic 4" worms in 20 feet of water.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: You can find clear water and muddy water. I chosed muddy water and fished from 9AM - 3PM with only 3 bites. Spent most of the PM looking for shelter ... wind was bad and the wind chop was worst. 3'ers all over the main lake. Well, there's a bite of a crank bite. I crank only 2 fish but both were shallow (<5'), both were smallies. Saw the Walton's Pond weigh-in and the winners had almost 15#'s for 7. Think they were cranking too. Walton himself (an avid jig fisherman) said he cranked up a small limit of 12+#'s. There was rumored to be a bite in clear water on a carolyna rigged lizard as well.
City: San JoseTips: say in the bay's and avoid them 3' rollers. Tried that and almost got thrown out of my boat. Try chartrues for muddy water.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Lake is filling nicely with lots of off color water which is full of debris. I fished from 9-4 and did okay considering the breeze and boat traffic. I hooked 6, landed 5, and missed one. Wound up with three around 2lbs, one 3, and a GIANT 7.8 w/ pics for proof!!! What a fish!!! Anyone lose a fire tiger Terminator?? Cuz the fish had one in it's mouth!! All the action was in 8'-12'of water on a 1/2oz brown/purple jig. Tried blades and cranks but they didn't work for me today.
City: San MateoTips: Fish shallow w/ jigs.
-
Water Temp: 51-53
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from 8 til 1:30. I intended to start searching with a blade first thing, and didn't have to search long..first spot nailed a couple 2-3#ers. Went over the same area with a brown-n-purple jig with a blue trailer and nailed 2 more. Continued this way for the next 2 hours and managed to get 4-5 more...the blade seemed to stop working for me around 10, so I fished jigs the rest of the day looking for some better ones. Caught several more 2-3#ers.
City: SJTips: Fish were pretty shallow, all my bites were in less than 10ft. Got bit on three different color jigs, but black with blue zoom super chunk seemed to work best.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out from 6 am till 8 am and fished from the shore. Working the shorelines with a red timber tiger and landed a hawg. Didnt have a scale on me, but it had to go 7-8 lbs EASY. Got a couple good pics too. Thankfully the water maintenance worker was right by me and he shot the pics
