      Water Temp: 60 (I'm guessin

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished about two hours prior to dark. Second cast w/Blue Green spinnerbait yielded only bass, about 2 pounds. This was caught in eastern creek arm, in branches o suspended timber near break into deeper water. Tried cranks, worms, tube jigs, jig&hogs, you name it. Not another whi! Later, s-trolling the main lake back to the launch Tommy T. picked up one trout using a snap weight ahead o a countdown rapala, gold, size 7. Yumm!
      City: Napa

Tips: Looking back, i we'd had more time, I'd have started out away rom the trees out deeper with crankbaits to see i there were any active takers beore barging right into the trees. I was a little rusty irst time out in a while, and might have scared 'em away.

      Water Temp: Unknown

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I fished lafayette Friday with a friend. The trout didn't seem to want bait for us, but I did pick up two by tossing a small brass Castmaster. The larger one went 7 pounds and was 22 inches long. She absolutly crushed the lure so hard it actually knocked the reel off the rod. I'm glad my friend was there to help me get the reel back on the rod while keeping the tension on the fish. The other was a nice 17 incher that jumped 5 times. I didn't know the bait shop was closeing at 5PM so I didn't get on their board as I went up at 5:30, to bad since this was my first really big trout ever.
      City: Richmond

Tips: Brass castmasters in small sizes. Slow retrieve is best.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The water was clear in the north end but stained in the south. Fish (trout I assume) were rising like crazy around the marina/boat launch at dawn, hitting what, we don't know. Aiming or bass but all shoreline structure was exposed due to low water level and we had no electronics unortunately so trolling was the ticket today: 12" bow on a spinner, 15" bow on a Kastmaster, and 13.5" bow on a Rapala. Baitishing in north end yielded nothing. Plant was made in the aternoon. Trout in AM in north end, bass in PM in south. 14.5" largemouth on a crank. A pleasant outing I must say.
      City: Pleasant Hill

Tips: I you're not having un, you're doing it all wrong!

      Water Temp: 51

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Angler's Choice Delta Region Sunday. Bite was tough, only took 16+ for 5 fish to win. High presure and cooling water temp seems to have slowed the bite conciderably. We had only 3 fish/6.8#s for the day, 2 flipping and 1 on a Speed Trap. We fished a couple of sloughs with depths from 2-15 feet. All our fish came from 3-7 feet of water. The flip fish came off of transition zones from weed flats to deeper tulie banks. Crank fish came off a weed flat. All three fish and out other bites came on downsized baits. 1/8 ounce Speed Trap and a 4 inch grub.
      City: Brentwood

Tips: Bite seems to vary day to day. Friday was great and by Sunday it was fairly slow. When high presure moves in after a front be sure to downsize your offerings.

      Water Temp: 47-50

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Water clarity varied around the lake. Some areas were muddy while others were airly clear. Fished the south end around Jago bay landing a 1 and 4.5 pounder. Fish came on crank baits in about 10'. Talked with others at the dock and they're still catching ish on jumbo minnows in 20-25'.
      City: Rohnert Park

Tips: Look or the clearer water. Stick with reaction baits, cranks down to 10-15'around docks or get some minnows and go deep.
