Report: Largemouth bass are monster sized here where i you got a lure or bait with a little stench to it i promise the big ones will come
City: Grande CacheTips: Use silver jiggs in murky water.I its a sunny day and your on a clear lake worms are my preered choice o bait. (i warm lake worm will be longer lasting)

Report: The ishing was great around New Years. My wie and riends camped at Camanche or new years, so the guys went out ishing. We caught some cranking but most were caught on a salt & pepper spider jij in 20 oot o water. One day we caught 15 ish rom 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 lbs, all on 1/4 oz jij with the salt and pepper spider grub. The ish are real at with most over 2 lbs.The Fisherman

Report: I ished Beale's point area rom my tube. Tried reapers,slow rolling a spinner bait, and cranking along the rip-rapand some stick ups. I caught a trout on a storm lightningshad.
Tips: Fish or trout in winter!

Report: The bait has been thinned out and the Largemouth and Stripers were biting. Threw reaction baits for the Stripers and caught 1 Largemouth and 5 Stripers on cranks and one spoon. Swithched over to Largemouth exclusively and caught 11 of them on plastics. Fished near Big Break. Major tide today with a 7.1' tide and fullish moon to help out. Delta took on some size from the last decent rain and things are looking good. A lot of active fish going. Just fish confidently and cover water. Fish are bunched up. Found all Largemouth in weed beds in 12-15'. Stripers on the flats of Franks.

Report: Fished south until lunch. Cranked two about 2 lbs on red Crankbait on rip-rap. Caught a 7.5 lb toad on a grub in about 15 ft. on a dropoff. Caught four other fish on the brown grub ranging to 2.5 lbs. Bite died for me about 11:00 am.
City: TracyTips: Fished same grub as last year at this time on Dropshot. Brown with green flakes and fished it slow almost deadsticking it.

Report: Ok - so the day started badly when the trolling motor died first thing. Hooksettr & ET & I tried anyway to spoon up some stripers in Disco, using the big motor to move us around. It is truly a sucky experience. Graphed em, not as many as previous weeks, definitely.. Not a single fish.

Report: Started in south end rocky secondary points. Then moved out to main creek points. Caught 2 blacks 2.5 lbs ea. couple o 14" spots. Went to piney to throw jigs, Looking or big blacks. Should have never let south end. Only caught a ew spots in Piney.
City: OakdaleTips: Slow presentation, Lots o time on the water. The more I go the easier to ind them. Right now I think there are ish at many depths. I stuck with 28'-40'.

Report: Partner and I ished up toward Bagby on steep rocky banks.Salt and pepper worms 4 or 6 inch.Caught 14 spots and 1 smallmouth. Smallest 1.6, largest 2.8. One on 4 inch morning dawn.

Report: My buddy and I ished rom 7am-2pm and only landed 2 bass. First hit a crank bait on the main lake, weighed 2.5 lbs. Second hit a 3" leach on the Warm Springs side in some trees along the shore, weighed 1lb.We ished rom top to bottom and couldn't buy a bite. We marked a lot o ish suspended o the bottom but could not entice them.

Report: ished lake kaweah early sun morning. threw baby brush hogs in black emerald and rootbeer-green lake. 8 ish up to 14 inches, in about 35-40 t. slow bite and very cold day.

Report: It was tough for us. We caught 2 spots first thing about 10 ft. After that we worked 10 to 40 ft. until 3:00pm and nothing. At 3:00pm we found fish in 20 to 30ft. in rock shaking worms.

Report: Today my dad and I and Phil went to Lake Berryessa, I caught the biggest fish I ever caught there even it's the only fish I ever caught there. The throttle on the boat broke, my dad caught 2 smallmouth and 1 spot, the weather and the water were beautiful, Tag A-long

Report: Launched out of Orwood this Saturday. Fished GIANT reaper in Disco Bay area for 2 hours on deep and shallow structure. Not a bite, pitched blk/blu Jig&pig, one bump, missed. Cranked red bomber, chrome speed trap, ripped Staysee in Disco & cranked Indian slough in 9-12 ft with various cranks Still no luck. Got desperate, ran to Trapper last hour (2-3 PM) and cranked a 2 lber and a 4 lber and missed a 3rd fish off riprap/tule combos in areas that had at least 10 feet of water nearby. Only got hits on Red Bomber 7a, water was a little dirtier in Trapper than in Disco in areas that I had hits. No flip or pitch bite for me this time. .

Report: Fishing was kind o strange up there today. Fish were not relating to points or cuts, they were on eatureless banks with brush. I ended up with 7 keepers to 2.5 lbs and missed 3 others. 4 ish came on jigs and 3 came on a reaper. Fish were rom 15 to 60 eet. Bite was lite. Best bet was to pick a streach o bank, put the trolling motor down and ish the whole thing rather then run rom point to point.Mike Niemi

Report: Launched out rom angels point about 9:00 A.M. it was a very beautiul day although a little cold! We ished a ew points an old road along with some rocky shoreline on our way to angels arm.We threw brown/purple jigs spinnerbaits and carolinia rigged worms.Our irst and only ish came at approx.12:30 on a brown&green worm.Fishing was slow but still a beautiul day on the lake!!! Our most excitement came at around 3:00 p.m as we slowed to ish into the cove that we had launched rom.As we approached a canoe with two men ishing or trout.All too our surprise (AS WELL AS THEIRS) as the young man went to set the hook on a ish they lost their balance and went in!! As we trolled over to help we couldn't help but notice a ish jumping out o the water repeatedly while both men clung to the canoe the younger man also clung to his pole that had a ish on!!! I managed to get them both saely to shore while Terri landed the rainbow trout.They drained their canoe as we gathered their loating belongings.Unortunately a tackle box and a pair o prescription glasses were lost.We towed them saely to the launch ramp so they could warm up,the water was VERY COLD!! 50 DEGREES. Well that's all or now, stay warm and dry!!!

Report: went on cloverdale side towards cherry creek landed 2 steelheads one about 19 inches and a 21 inch we were using lasher with a 24 inch leader threaded minnow trolling around trees about 200 yards rom shore ish inder showed alot o ish in schools rom 13 eet to 87 we had downriggers set to 11 eet most o the day 10 lb.testireline on garcia baitcaster6"trout rod 8 lb. spiderwire on shaminio sendona 4000 spinning reel 8" eagleclaw rod use dodger and 20lb leader broken back repella
