Water Temp: low as the leve

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished lunchtime today Caught a nice 3.8 # LM Football on a reaction bait. THEN RELEASED HER ( belly full of eggs )Didn't see any fishermen on Rainbow nor a "Bucket " douche-bag fisherman. Wind was about 5mph fish was Lethargic and didn't fight much at all. I consider it a Lucky Day when i get one fish since i can go 10 times skunked. I only fish here cause i live a mile from here. Very tough lake and very few fish.

BTW NO $$$ from the permits go to BASS it All goes to Trout and maintenance of the lakes. So i pay a fee to feed the trout fisherman. what a crock. Fish often for no Results.
      City: Freekmont

Tips: Kick over the buckets you see with BASS in them. Make sure you give the "bucket fisherman" some sh_t for taking fish that are minimum of 3 yrs old. Make sure you tell them it's Mandatory Release for all Bass.

Report: Does anyone know if you are allowed to keep coho salmon at this lake? Also wondering where trout are planted. Which launch ramp? I guessing capell cove. Bass fishing is slow so I just figured I fish for other species.

Report: Fished the Hook tournament. We stayed in our first area until 1:00, waiting for the fish to turn on. First fish was at 10:44 on a speed trap, sexy shad. Second was at 2:45 on the same lure. Third fish was at 2:50 on a jerkbait, shad color.
There was NO Senko bite at all.
The dock talk was that alot of the bite was late in the day. Probably due to the cloud cover.rybroa

      Tips: Fish SLOW.

      Water Temp: 52.5 - 54.3

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Left Ladds at 8:00 AM this morning, fished Whites Slough and Fourteen Mile Slough, had 5 keepers in the boat in the first hour; the biggest was a 4 lbr. Caught a total on 9 keepers today, 2 on crankbait and the remaining 7 on jerk bait...best 5 went 16.25 lbs. All-in-all not a bad day on the water, got off the water at 1:00 PM
      City: Sacramento

Tips: Watch your graph, i found a lot of fish in 6 to 8 feet of water and I caught most of them in 6 feet. Although the water is warming I found that the slower I fished the better the bite became. Continue to be patient and work the bait slowly.

Report: Saturday was basically a nice day at the lake. The sun and clouds took their turns but it was nice on the water. I headed out with John early afternoon and the first place we fished was in Willy's Ski School. Finding no fish activity there I changed my course to go to the Narrows. Seeing my son heading in that direction I decided to fish by the Ranch house instead. There was a lot of bait action and fish jumping but my goal was to land some fish and I thought fishing shallow would be more productive. The water was clear and we trolled far behind the boat. John landed three nice trout and a bass weighting up to 3 pounds (see photo). We tried our luck at the Vineyard too but to no avail. My son said he saw fish jumping all over the lake all day long but did not get one bite. It was a very enjoyable day. 'til next time..............................................................................................good fishing!!!!

Report: Bite was on.... when it rained. Caught a few between the actual rain, but when it was raining we pounded them in 10-12 feet with jerkbaits. Long pauses. Move it twice and pause again - bam. Repeat for 10 fish in 2lb range.
      City: Pacific Grove

Tips: 3rd time i've been here and it has turned on during rain. Only on days with unstable weather. rain all day we don't do well. Jerkbaits right now, but senkos also work good.

Report: Same story as WackySenko. Two trips for 1 @ 2#. Today I was fishing near an older couple using live bait. They were filling the boat with nice bass using minnows and a bobber. I threw every minnow imitation I had without even a strike. I also worked the rest of my tackle box with similar results. I figure we probably need a couple more weeks of longer days and warmer water to see more consitent action.

Report: Sorry that I do NOT have any good info to offer. Third time out this month. Only one bite (2.35# in the boat) for all three days, did not even get any striper bites. We tossed Senkos, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, jigs, speed traps, assorted plastics and god only knows whatelse. I tried deadstickin, slow medium and fast. I even left some in while I retied. We fished from Franks to East end of Whites.
I think that the next time We go I am just going to a place that held fish, same time in the past, and stay in that area all day. Sure, like I could do that.

Report: Been out working with the A rig and starting to figure it out. Still not killing them with it but it is proving to be one more tool to use. Overall the bite has been slow but the fish are starting to move. This past trip the jig bite worked the best and the fish were running a solid 3lbs and up.The reaction bite is also starting.
      City: Winters

Tips: The fish are starting to move so they are ranging from as deep as 60 to 5 feet deep. Reaction is starting and the jig bite is solid allong with the dropshot. It is a junk fishing bite watch the water temp and adjust with it.

Report: I took myself up to the lake this afternoon to check out the bite - and found it pretty good. I fished from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, landing 7 spots and 2 largemouth. My first spotted bass was big fish - a little over 3 1/2 lbs. Caught her on the "Hemphill" special - brown/orange jig with #180 5" Yamamoto grub trailer, about 30 feet deep. Cloud cover moved in and might have turned on the bite. I caught all the rest of the bass from 10 to 20 feet deep - west and east shore, mostly on jigs. I threw 6 and 8 inch swimbaits, but no hits.
      City: Yuba City

Tips: One could almost walk across all the trout they planted - wow! Some of the monster bass in Collins should put on a few pounds with those "meals!" I threw a few crankbaits with no success.
