Re: You are now Officially a NutCase
check out the results from the weekends 100% TOC - the winner averaged 3 lb fish. These are good sticks - the river is a bit tough right now. You're doing about average for most folks. To up the chances of a bigger fish, you could throw bigger baits or try for a reaction strike and throw it a LOT. M...

Mark Crutcher won the boat, a beautiful Basscat Pantera Classic.. I think he had just over 31 lbs over three days (i think). He came from behind to win with just under 20lbs on the second day. Pretty incredible considering most of the field struggled with the high skies and changing tides... second/...

(sorry about length to follow) The delta master Steve Sapp won it with just over 20#. He beat second by almost four pounds, with a 6.5# kicker. A pleasant surprise was when he came up for the award and spent a good five - ten minutes talking about how he fished and what he fished with. It was jigs, ...

It's pretty easy to do in person at most AAA offices - as a bonus, there's almost always no waiting. They'll make sure that all the paperwork is OK, and will have all the appropriate forms. You will need the pink slip or other proof of ownership and a current registration.

Remember that the Delta is a complex of lakes and rivers.. look for confluences where rivers meet, or make a sharp bend. Clearlake for me (fishing wise), i think. Because the Delta has the extra dimension of current, tides and pumps which is an added variable. So it's a teensy bit easier to fish. I do think that the Delta is more challenging - which sometimes is more fun.. so maybe the Delta is better.. oh i dunno! Bo...
