    Water Temp: 83

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: On the lake by 4:00 with the temp about 102...first thing my son and I did was jump in the lake...just to cool down. Tried first to find some shade to see if fish were holding up there...zero...went back to the main lake and started casting where the wind blew into the trees..fished like that untill dark and ended up with about 8..largst being around 1 1/2lbs..texas worm pro green weenie and keeper worms ...tough fishing with the skiiers and low water conditions...felt like we were in the ocean! I wish the skiiers and jet idiots would just go home...I'm just venting,,,sorry California needs to learn to protect there fisheries better..
    City: Clovis

Tips: Cast 3-5 feet in front of the submerged trees and let the wind bring whatever you are presenting into the trees.....be patient and don't be afraid to deadstick it a bit.....when you start to work it...go slow...a very subtle bite. Also let them truly take it...don't set too soon

Report: Took my 13 tr old son out to Pine Flat monday afternoon and found the cold water line up river with bass and trout on top hitting shad. wide open bite on jerk baits for both. Spent the night on the boat in 40 ft just past that water line. Found a great trout night bite with a floating light and crickets, I'm talking 3 to 5lb big bows. we also had a catfish pole out and couldn't keep it in the water over 15 min with out a big cat. We then found a flat in the same area in the am loaded with nice bass hitting my favorite keeper 1010 tx style. I catch more nice spots on a keeper 1010 than anything on Pine Flat, it must be the sparkle tail. All in all a great outing my Son and I will cherish for years to come
    City: Visalia

Tips: Night bite 40ft water with floating light and crikets. I bought my light at big 5 which clamps to my battery, very nice, lanterns turn your night fishing into bug city. I let all my fish go so you can catch them again...

    Water Temp: 67

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Visited my buddy in Fresno this past weekend, and fished Pine Flat for the first time. Fished from noon to dinner on Sat and managed 11, including a personal best 3.3 lb spot. Got a slightly earlier start on Sunday - fished from around 9 to lunch time. Action was a lot faster on Sunday(a lot less boaters). Had my 2nd limit by noon, and my buddy got his 1st limit an hour later. No real size, best fish was around 2.5.

We were drop-shotting and split-shotting in around 15-30' of water off of main lake rocky points. I also got some dragging a one-ton rig(brown, green flake) through mudlines off muddy banks. Nice lake, but it was really windy both days.
    City: Newark

Tips: Best luck with a 4.5" curl-tail natural shad drop-shot about 12" off the bottom. In the mudlines on Sat, I needed to color the tail chartreuse to get bit. On Sunday, the water was a lot clearer due to a lot fewer boats. They didn't want chartreuse at all, but nailed natural shad and baby bluegill really hard. Most fish were on the backside of rocky points in 15-30'. They were a bit shallower whenever there was a mudline around the point

Saturday fished same area I lost one about 2 lbs my partner caught a 2 pounder. He also picked up a few dinks using green/brown 4" worm with split shot and a brown jig. Sunday caught 3 dinks and lost one about 1.5 lbs with in 1 hour using crawdad colored crankbait around boulders and brush. Even a bluegill was caught on my partners crankbait. Picked up a few more on worms around boulders/brush.

Report: Arrived at 1430hours, tried main lake points and nailed a ton of dinks, drop shotting a smoke keeper worm with an orange bloodline. Then started moving to the river and hit a 2.11lb large off a brush laydown on a watermelon weightless senko. Threw a white spinnerbait on some trees in the river and first cast nailed a 1lb crappie, next cast hit a 15 inch squaw fish, Go Figure. Ended up with about 20 fish, but mostly dink/spots.

Report: Me and my partner got to the lake at 9:00 and man was it slow. Fished until about 2:30 or 3:00 and only boated 3 fish and I was ready to go home but stayed. Good thing too. After about 3:00 it was just one after another. Ended up with 20-25 fish with the biggest going about 5lbs. All of them in windy gap area on a pro worm paddle tail.

    Water Temp: 64-68

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Was bed fishing a week ago and it seems to be over. Water clarity is down due to carp spawning everywhere!
I caught nine keepers in a half day of fishing but could not establish a pattern. Senkos, cranks, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and rip baits were all good for a fish every 20-30 minutes. Most were 15" and fat with one four pounder on the buzzbait.

Tips: Cover water and mix it up.

    Water Temp: 58-59

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: With over a week of hot temperatures was expecting a wide open bite. Not there yet, but had a really good time catching a mixture of spots and largemouth averaging 1.7lbs with largest going 2.52lbs. The fish are starting to stage. We caught our better fish inside coves that were wind protected. The best pattern was drop shotting shad colored or oxblood worms. Toss it up against the bank in 2-4 foot of water and pull it off and let it drop another foot or so. Their looking up and taking it as it drops. The bite is very suttle so keep a sensitive touch to the rod. A couple of times my partner and I thought we were hung up in grass but were later surprise with a scrappy 2lb'er.
    Have fun, we sure did.

    Water Temp: 49.6

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started early with MBtopwater, throwing blades and suspending jerk baits at Zebe cove point with no luck. Thought ish would be up shallow as the preceeding week was sunny and 60 to 65 degrees. Weather was overcast and cold so no morning bite or us. Went to Windy Gap, stated ishing points and walls in 15-30 eet shaking 6" worms. This pattern had been working over the past month, no luck. Started the big motor and graphed the walls and points, ound bait ish and bass in 40-50 eet. MBTopwater starts drop shott'n and immediatly get bit, nice 3 pound spot. Ater he gets 5 ish in the boat, switch to the drop shot and we are putting good health spots and blacks in the boat on consistent basis. I tried various baits and presentations but this day the ish wanted the 4.5 inch curl tail worm in shad pattern. All ish were healthy and at, practice catch and release and we will have a good spawn and good ishning or years to come.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Full out winter pattern, ish at 40-50 eet. Use your electronics to ind the bait and ind the ish
