Report: BassBusters Fishing Report rom Joe H. and Mysel.Saturday - Joe and I managed a couple o quick ish on a 1/2 oz. White Spinnerbait with a Single Hammered Crome Indiana Blade. This Spinnerbait has produced really good or spots. The next couple o ish came o o a Luck Crat Pointer 128 in American Shad. Ater the reaction bite died or us we caught the rest o our ish on a 7" Roboworm in a color close to Arrons Majic, but I can't remember the exact name.On Sunday - We went right to the same Luck Crat Pointer. It again produced a ew good ish, when that bite started to die I wanted something similar to use but a little slower, so I switch to a Pearl Fluke with Chartruse Back and Red Tip at the head. This was great I had three ish or our cast and then produce a ew more o o it. The trick was twitch it a ew times and let it all near a big bolder. The ish would slam it. Joe was producing similar results with a Chartruse Senko. He would let it all closer to the bottom and lit it once, then the ish would slam it. Once the sun came out we tried a couple o things but again ound the bite with the same darter head setup.Sunday produce about 14 ish or us with 8 keepers or our 10.5 lbs.Saturday produce about 25 ish, all keepers or our 11.92 lbs.We had a good time despite the massive rain on Saturday. All in all I would say the Pine Flat was a success with almost all boats coming in with limits both days.Thanks,R. Duzac

Report: A tough day on the lake. We started out at 1:30pm.. I had heard it had been slow the previous weekend but since the temp. had risen dramaticaly I thought this would be the day it turned. It started out promising with my son landing a 2lb on a 6'Purple roboworm in about 6" o water. Ater that we would ind plenty o ish but they just wouldn't bite.We ended up with 4 total and I did land a 3lb emale that was sitting on her bed....she was ready to pop...when I released her she splashed water in my ace which my son thought was very unny. i think it was her way o saying thanks or letting me go!
City: ClovisTips: All ish were caught on plastics...no top water action we cranked a little...spinner baits too.Purple and salt and pepper pro worm were the colors..

The bite was on again at 6am on a 5" clear senko with black lake all over the creek area. best ight o the day was a 21 inch squaw ish that hit a crank bait, I thought it was a muski and I was dreaming. that ish just about spooled me on 8lb test, what a ugly smelly creature. good trip, go get um in the creeks.

Report: Got to the dock about 2:30 to ish the aternoon bite and do some shad chasing.A tough day with only three small bass in the boat...all dinks. The most exciting thing that happened was a very large bass... came ater one o the dinks my son was reeling in and grabbed hold...It had to be at least 8-12LBs.We looked at each other and said at the same time "did you see that?"Probably a large mouth but maybe the next world record spot! We were using shad colored lukes and 4-5" clear senkos with black leck.My apoligies go out to Marley-Mann questioning his post last week. It seems he and his partner are not only very skilled but also had one o those days we are all chasing!!Here's wishing you many more o those days Marley-Mann!!!
City: ClovisTips: Learn to hold your mouth just right....in more ways than one.Try a shad colored Rattle Trap...

Report: Fished 4/03 & 4/06. Did really well both days. Started @ 6:00AM. They were biting on shad colored cranks & top water. Fishing shallow on the bank out. Would get bit 3-6 cranks to the boat. They are slamming the crankbaits! My partner nailed a 4.0 with a crankbait on his 5th cast on 4/3. Good pair o days. Lots o ish on 4/6 but they were smaller 12.5 - 15" Tried spinnerbaits & got some hits, but they were hitting it on the trailer.
City: VisaliaTips: Cast that crankbait as close to shore as you can. Let it sit or the count o 6, then reel it med. speed & hold on. They are in rocky structure & small coves. Also try a spinnerbait with no trailer!
