      Water Temp: Warm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had an awesome day. Got out there around 9:00 a.m. with 4 other friends. We left at 11:00 a.m. with 123 crappies. It was a great Day. Sorry for the late post.
      City: Isabella

Tips: They are under the rocks and about 5 to 10 feet from shore. It was easier to jig the jig (white) around rocks right in front of you. You can see them come out from under the rocks and bite. There are big ones!!!

      City: lompoc

Tips: throw to the gaps in the weeds near rocks. Top water at the weed edges early in the morning

      Water Temp: Cool

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I went out at night because my bro-in-law said crappie bite best at night. It was okay. We got there at around 9 p.m. and by 10:30 we only caught about 15 crappie each. From 10:30 to 11:30 it was really slow. Maybe about 3 or so each. Just using a red jig with a white tail. The daytime seems to be better. Oh, the biggest one I caught was about 1 pound. Not really huge, but I did see someone come to the bait shop just before I got there. This person caught a 3 1/2 pounder. Awesome! hehe... Well, I'll be back out there soon (Daytime!)
      City: Bakersfield

Tips: At nite, use a jig with no bobber. Let it sit on the ground for a few secs and real. Repeat it. They seem to bite when it is still, but need the movement to get there.

In the day, use a bobber and leave about 18 inches of a drop.

Report: I recently fished the lake and the nacimiento river back in may and again in june 2004 had sucess both times while fishing on the lake plastic worms assorted colors worked well for me usually jigging in about 10-20 feet and near rocky shorelines at the river trout fishing was good on nightcrawlers and green power bait.
      City: Camp Roberts

Tips: suggest using glitter green power bait or chartruese power baits when fishing the river,Size 16/18 black treble hooks with 1/2oz split shot weight about 14 to 18 inches from hooks. At lake try plastics little or no weight casting near rocky edges and weed patches use weedless hooks on your plastic assortment.

Report: Fished Nacimento Friday afternoon and Saturday. Fishing was good for Spots on Yamamoto 4" worms light color and Castaic color 4" Robo worms Dropshot. Also Senko white/ silver flake worked well . Fished the main lake shoreline and in coves adjacent to deep water all around the Oakshore's area. Caught a wide open boil bite at 6:30 A M on Sat. that lasted over an hour at the mouth of Cantinas in about 20 feet of water.. Used

Tips: Try to find shore line close to deep water with dropoffs. Most fish fish were caught in less than 10 depth. Look for areas that hold a lot of shad for possibler boils.

      Water Temp: 67

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Visited my buddy in Fresno this past weekend, and fished Pine Flat for the first time. Fished from noon to dinner on Sat and managed 11, including a personal best 3.3 lb spot. Got a slightly earlier start on Sunday - fished from around 9 to lunch time. Action was a lot faster on Sunday(a lot less boaters). Had my 2nd limit by noon, and my buddy got his 1st limit an hour later. No real size, best fish was around 2.5.

We were drop-shotting and split-shotting in around 15-30' of water off of main lake rocky points. I also got some dragging a one-ton rig(brown, green flake) through mudlines off muddy banks. Nice lake, but it was really windy both days.
      City: Newark

Tips: Best luck with a 4.5" curl-tail natural shad drop-shot about 12" off the bottom. In the mudlines on Sat, I needed to color the tail chartreuse to get bit. On Sunday, the water was a lot clearer due to a lot fewer boats. They didn't want chartreuse at all, but nailed natural shad and baby bluegill really hard. Most fish were on the backside of rocky points in 15-30'. They were a bit shallower whenever there was a mudline around the point

      Water Temp: 70f - 78F

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished two full days with my dad. We averaged ~ 70 spots per day between the two of us, all small - we were unable to break the 1.5 lb mark. Contrary to our prior experiences, the fishing was slower in the morning and picked up later in the day. Most fish were caught on 4" lizards and worms on both drop shot and 1/8 oz. to 3/16 oz. darter head rigs along rocky shoreline within a moderate cast from 20+ feet of water. Most of the fish had full bellies, about half we caught disgorged shad and crawdads during the fight.
      City: Bakersfield

Tips: Fish lighter/shad color plastics during the middle of the day when the sun is overhead. If fishing drop shot or darter heads, fish relatively slow and maintain contact with the bottom.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: started off on spots back in the narrows, cauaght one on a texas rigged 4in. purple worm, and then saw a school of white bass boiling, and we hooked about 30+ whites in about 30 min., on whites fished chartrues spinners, and silver cast masters, basicaly just cast any thing that looks like a shad and they will hit it,whites were about 2pd to 3pd. Hooked spots on a brown hulagrub with 1/8 darter head and 4in. purple worm, caught 2 spots in the hole day, on the rocks.
      City: royal oaks

Tips: fish on week days, lake is crowded with skiers, that make wakes that fly over the sides of the boat. Are get there real early around 6 and leave, before every one shows up.

Report: Fising was slighlty difficult to the small drawdown of the lake. Partner and I caught fish on custom poured senko type baits as well as custom poured splitshoted 4" worms. Caught a couple dropshotting as well for a total of around 15 fish for us.
      City: burbank

Tips: Fish shallow early and move out to about 20-25 ft. as day warms
