Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Naciment0 4/14-19, and we caught lots o ish. Over the course o the week we caught over 150 Spots, although only about a third o those were in the 12 inch range. We did catch several in 1 1/2- 2lb range. We caught a lot o ish in the coves at Running Deer,Swamp John, and in the coves between Cantinas and the Narrows. All the bigger ish were caught on the main lake and not deep into to the back o coves. We ished all o Cantinas one evening and did not get bit till we were back on the main lake. We got lucky on Friday and ran into a school o Whites at about 7:30 A M eeding on shad in the Grizzly Bend area in the Narrows. The shad were being chased up on the bank and the bite lasted about 40 minutes. Several dozen large Whites were caught out o that bite on 1/4 oz. silver Kastemasters. We went back to the Narrows on Saturday at the same time, but the Whites had moved and shad could not be ound in the area. The best bet is to ind the shad and ish in that area till they start to bite. Our main bite or Spots were on 4" white Senkos although we did catch a lot on dropshot as well with 4" Robo worms in the Arron's Magic, and Baby Bass colors. We also caught quite a ew on 3" Yamato white or chartreuse grubs ished just like a Senko. Because o the size o ish, they preered the smaller baits. Fish were grabbing the bait within 5 eet o the shore, so you need to cast close to get a strike. The weather all week was cold with scatted showers. I am sure the bite would have even been better with better weather but we have no complaints.
City: BradleyTips: 4 " White with silver lake Senko and 4" Robo worms Arron Magic color. Use 1/4 oz. Silver or Gold Kastmasters i you ind the Whites or quick action.Use smaller baits, not to exeed 4" i you want a lot o strikes. 5" Senko would get short strikes and you lose a lot o ish. We cut our 5" Senko in hal when we rand out o 4" and they work just as well.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went to Naci with a bunch o campers rom 4/16 thru 4/20. I got out every morning or about three hours at dawn. Fished Dip Creek a couple times, it was loaded with shad up shallow. The whole arm was one big ball o shad. The white bass were not busting though. I think the rain and cold weather we had moved them out. I did get a nice 3 lb catish on a reation bait, and one white bass and a 2 lb largemouth. I worked the rocky entrance banks or a lot o spotted bass, but as usual no big ish, just a lot o keeper size spots. (all released). I was dropshotting oxblood colored worms. I ound an isolated shad ball with busting ish on it in Bee Rock cove and had a blast getting the open water spots on a small darterhead shad colored bait. I did keep one keeper or the table and it had eggs in it, so it doesn't look like they have spawned yet..Fished the narrows one aternoon and in every likely looking rocky steep bank, I would get nice spotted bass. Drop shotting.I couldn't get bit on a crawdad crank, which usually works great or me there. I will be back in June or 8 days, so I am looking orward to the good topwater... Lake is down quite a bit...

Report: Fishing was great today as we expected! Two o us used loat tubes and started ishing rom the irst launch ramp as you come into the campground. We ished toward the back o the lake then clear across to the rock bank on the opposite side o the lake near the river inlet. Probably 80% o the ish we caught were in the 2 lb range, only a handul o undersized (less than 15"), one ish at 4 lbs and another at 7. Did I mention that we caught and released 60+ ish between the two o us between 8 am and 4 pm? Light line (6 lb test even or the 7 lb'er) and plastics were the ticket. The ish are still bedding. The 7 pounder had a little wear on her tail but didn't look like she'd been nesting or long. Isolated SMALL trees seemed to hold the most ish or us. Very ew ish came rom the larger trees. Ater the tournament on Sunday I'll be glad to post exactly what we were using, but or the time-being I'd just say plastic worms in brown w/black lake. Keep it light and you can't miss. Don't rule out the lats in 4-6 t o water! We caught ish there as well. Doubt that weather will make much dierence this weekend as the bigguns seem to be pre-occupied with bedding. Good luck. See you there on Sunday!
