Report: Got on the water about 7:30 a.m. First ish at 9:10 about 2lbs. By 10:30 a.m. had 6 ish in the boat. Smallest ish all day about 1.5lbs. Largest 5 ish about 12-14 lbs. Largest ish 3.5lbs. Tried spinner isrt no luck, when to dropshot and landed all six ish in 1 hour. Let lake about 11:30. Great day.

Tips: Fish it slow and even slower. Best bet is to let it all slow and work it back 2 turns then stop 2 turns then stop. They will hit it when you stop it.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: My ishing buddy and I arrived at 9:30 and ished all day.Caught spots everywhere we went.4" plastics, tubes, skirted jigs, and even jerk baits worked. Not much in size but the numbers were there.Caught around 40 all together.Seen a ew whites being cleaned at the cleaning station. Most o the spots caught were buck bass.I think the emales are still staging to move up and spawn.
      City: Visalia

Tips: pretty much wide open.Fish anywhere and have a great time!!!

      Water Temp: 57 deg

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went to the lake or the day to check on ish location and water level and water temp. For this time o year the water level is low, it is usually 6-8 eet higher. The water temp is about right, the water level increased by almost 8 eet in 2 weeks. Within the next couple weeks the water level should be about right or the ish to start moving into the the shallows to build beds.
      City: Bakersield

Tips: Late Feb and Mar are good ishing ish are moving into shallows to build beds. Light colored 3/8 oz spinners along the shoreline usually work. Natural color worms on dropshot work also. Summer night ishing with buzz baits work well, summer time brings out all the jet skiers, most have no respect or isherman. My point is summer time day ishing is hard to do.
