Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Bass from 12 to 15 inches long can be caught here in depths of 5 to 20 feet on jigs, baby brushogs, wacky style senko's. Top water baits are also working rico's and buzzbaits early morning or late evening. Traffic here is also light during the week.
      City: madera ca

Tips: Small finesse jigs with 4" twin tail grubs as your trailers are my first choice here. Bass are holding in coves around rock piles on brush piles and on flats and around trees.

Report: A foggy morning launch at 6AM with maybe 4-5 boats already at the marina. Finally ---! A decent day at Lopez. Fisihing buddy and I headed towards the bridge and elected to stop about mid-way and toss top water. A few blowups but nothing great partner hit on a decent LG on a senko but it was off at the boat. Headed to sandflats and topwater again. Score!!Partner brought in a nice 5+ and I hit a solid three on a whacky senko. Pulled in three more and headed to Vasquez. Pulled a few off the bank, chnged up to a RootBeer Hula and the day went nuts from there. We nailed close to 30-40 fish with several in the 3-5 pound range all large blacks with one very nice 3# smallie I took on the RootBeer grub. Wind up about 11AM making it cold with the heavy fog. Fog lifted around noon with some sunshine.
      City: SM

Tips: Fish were mostly near the shoelne in 3-6 foot. Hula Grubs in Rootbeer & Pmpkin blk flk,Robos in Oxblood and Arrons Magic were taking quality fish all morning long.

Report: A practice visit to Magri ... Water was like 'bathtub' warm! Hit the flats by the dam tossing into weed lines with senkos and hula grugs. Saw lots and lots of fry bass in the very clear water. Partner and I both located several 'old' beds with nothing near it but smaller fry. Did see one good cruiser in the 4lb range but reapeated nose drop with four or five different baits proved fruitless. Headed to the back in the narrows with dropshot and finally pulled in a few dinks - - nothing to write home about. Saw three or four boats pull out and two we chatted with had same answer -- Nothing Bitting! Temperature was WARM and finally a little wind came in which was very welcomed. Saw my old partner and he said the same -- Had one keeper and lots of small fish.

Report: A trip to the pez with my good neighbor fishin buddy. Hiot Whittenberg with a big NADA.. Stopped at Sand point with same results. Headed to the back bu the last dock and started to finally hit in 4-6 foot range off the banks. Partner scored a decent 3+ and a few dinks, I finally pegged a decent 17 incher on a Pumpkin colored jig then busted another good 3+ on the opposite bank on the same setup. Slowed so we headed in about 10:30ish. A good day but pretty slow on the bite.
      City: SM

Tips: Watermelon Pump black flake Hula grubs, Pumpkin Jigs seem to get most fish.

      Water Temp: 68-75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Visalia Bass had a tournament at Lake Kaweah on Saturday and 48 boats competed. Fishing was pretty good and most teams produced limits. The winning weight was an incredible 23lbs+ with second place weighing in a limit of over 16lbs. Both of those teams had huge kicker fish to go along with an otherwise solid stringer. An 7-8lb limit was middle of the road. Fish were literally caught all over the lake. The lake is at nearly maximum capacity and patience will produce fair numbers of bass, which can be found shallow.

Tips: Fish aggressively early in the morning and then slow down and fish shaded structure for your best chance to land a quality bass later in the day.

Report: Big change since Saturdays outing. Whittenberg coughed up a few decent keepers but a far cry from a few days ago. Fishing friend pulled a nice 5-6 with a small swim near the rock pile in Whittenberg and like me, a few on a dropshot.

Cloudy, overcast and foggy. Was down right chilly till about 11ish.
A few takers at the bridge but no keepers. All smaller fish

      Water Temp: 65.3

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: A short trip to the pez to check out a new trolling motor.. SWEET! Holds in the wind like I needed. This Tour edition Motorguide Digital 82# is the ticket!

Hit Whittenberg east wall stickups with a top water and scored three right off the bat. Nice 3-5 pounders! Tossed a blade towards the backside around stickups with only two takers. Went back to the weeds and threw a whacky senko scoring four more in the 13-15" range. Moved off to Vasquez east walls and hit a few on hula grubs before calling it a goo day.. Nice outing. Wind was out a little but warm conditions.
      City: SM

Tips: Whittenberg fish were all in the 4-5 foot range for the top water and 6-9 feet with the Senko. Good solid fish. Healthy and hungry!
