Report: DIDN'T START FISHING UNTIL 7:30 AM. WATER LEVEL 10-12 FEETBELOW FULL POOL SO MY PARTNER,TOB, AND I WANTED GOOD LIGHTBEFORE LAUNCHING. EAST SIDE OF LAKE REAL SHALLOW AND MOST BOAT DOCKS HIGH AND DRY. SCOUTED MOST OF THE MORNING, LOOKING AT PRIMARY POINTS AND FOLLOWING THEM OUT TO 10-15 FT. DEPTHS SEARCHING FOR DROP OFFS. TOB CAUGHT A NICE 4-5 LBS LARGE MOUTH OFF A ROCK PILE IN 15 FT. W/ JUNEBUG ZIPPERSPLIT SHOT RIGGED. SAID HE JUST FELT PRESSURE. WE DIDN'T TRY IN THE COVES, WIND STARTED UP AROUND 10:30,SO WE STARTED HOME. I BLANKED AND HAD TO BUY LUNCH, RATS!

Report: took my 8 yr old son and started at 530 am in greasy cove. he was useing minnows and kicked the pants o o me with numbers. i limited useing luke and senko. 5 biggest was about 17lbs with a 6.8 kicker o o a bed. this ish was released immediatley to return to her bed. ound lots o bed ish with some huge ish on them and had a 10 lber i was playing with. i caught the buck and was working on the emale and actually missed her twice on the hit but ran out o time and had to release the buck and take o.

Report: The bass are preparing their beds. Not really hungry at all. I watched them swim around and chase any intruding ish away, but couldn't get them to bite. My brother targeted one ish with quite ew lures until it inally bit a small inline spinner, apparantly out o exasperation. I ound crappie a little more inclined to strike, but still not real hungry.
City: AtascaderoTips: I'd have to say my best advice is to come back in a week or two. The ish seem to be getting ready or some action.

Report: Fished all week rom Monday the 25th till Thursday with my 11 yr old. I love this lake, we caught spots on keeper # 1010 worms TX. style everywhere we ished up to 40 each day. Could not get the white bass to hit anything but we ound um up the narrows in the hundreds at 8t o water.

Report: Good Friday was Hard Friday.Fished rom daylight to 1:oo p.m.Fished grassy banks mixed with rock.Sinkos and 4"plastics caught the ew ish we boated.Should o threw a jerk bait irst thing.Seen a ew ish chasing bait ish.Finally threw a jerk bait at about noon.Had about a 3lb+ ish allow it to the boat.Oh well next time.Full moon hurt the ishing.

Report: The bite is just starting to heat up. Caught a ew on watermelon/blue lake Zoom SS and on smoke Senkos. They were about 2-2.5 lbs. No biggies. Lots o people were on the south side o the lake, but there seemed to be more ishermen than ish. I caught most o them near the dam, but not on it.
City: Corcoran, CaTips: You can lip in the trees on the north side o the lake or ish the shore near the dam. It should be getting good soon.

Report: COULDN'T GET MY SELF TO TTHROW A WORM, DID GET A LIMIT ON GRUBS, BUT THEY WERE SMALL KEEPERS, ROOTBEER/WATERMELONSEEMED BEST. I DID 2 RIP FISH, THEY WERE MY BEST FISH.I NOW THINK I SHOULD HAVE THROWN THE LUCKY CRAFT 128MORE. COULD NOT GET ANY SPINNERBAIT FISH.

Report: Focused on inding a reaction bite to cover some water. Turned out to be the right plan. Caught a bunch o small bucks, no biggies showing up yet. Tried some staging areas out deeper rom the spots I got the dinks on, nothing. Lots o loating wood washing in right now. Be careul on plane. Water is coming up pretty ast now too. Water temp is down rom 57 two weeks ago.

Report: Code 3 Bass Club blasted o at 547am.Again I had a bad number so again I had to call. My partner and I inally got to Windy Gap but the bite wasn't like the week beore , we just couldn't stop catching spots with brown skinner bear jigs and white 4"worms o any brand.This time the bite was ligth and much slower then last week.All my ish were caugth at Windy Gap and 1 at a point by Zebe Creek which is near the the Dam. The weather consist o rain and ice storm all day.The water temp.never got above 57 degrees. We weighed in with 5 ish or 7.4 pounds good enough or another 2nd place win.The 1st place winner had 7.7.Hey we are still trying.By the way we got big ish with a weigh-in o 2.2 pounds.I guest we'll try this again next month in the Delta.

Report: Fished Greasy cove rom 10:00 to 2:30, I saw many ish but had trouble getting bit. I caught two 1.5 lbs on 4" drop shot worms. Fish seem to be meandering about not to interested yet.

Report: well the white bass are biting,2 to 3 pounder-up in the narrows by grizzy bend,reap-bait,got 20 whites and 20 spotted bass.been cathing,40 to 70 spottes a day,all week,drop-shot bass in 15 to 20 eet,reapers brown color.god bless

Report: up at 1130 tryed greasy cove irst not even a nibble with the senko, lizards, worms, and jerk baits at various depths. about 1230 moved to the irst point just outside greasy and nothing on all the previous baits except i threw a couple cranks as well. moved to the damn tryed all and threw a jig and still nothing. moved to the point directly across rom the irst marina. nothing there. so i am thinking these ish are all screwed up do to the riseing water. inally at 408 pm i got my irst hit. a 2 and a hal. on a lizard. and then at 415 got my second on a lizard again, a clone o the irst. then another clone on a senko. all keepers within 20 minutes. damn i had to be in visalia by 500 to pick up my kids.

Report: I started out about 7am hoping to ind some good spawning ish. I guess they were eected by that weather we just had because there was nothing. I decided at about 9am to ish a little deeper 10' seemed to be the trick caught two good ish in vasquez arm a 7 and a 5 pounder. I caught both on a 6" blue& black zipper worm texas rigged. The bite seemed to die o about aternoon and then It got windy.
City: NipomoTips: I think i the weather stays warm the big ish will start to get on the beds real soon. I seem to be really succesul with zipper worms & big bs worms lipped on beds in junebug or chartruese / white spinnerbaits. good luck!

Report: Pulled up to the lake about noon. Taking my little one so wasn't too concerned about getting real serious about ishin. Started throwing cranks and spinner baits--nothing. Went to a jig and nothing. Ended up throwing plastics in about eight to twelve t o water. Within minutes got hammered, about a 2'1/2. Wind kicked up then the rain. Got a ew more bites then noticed my son was hiding underneath the console to stay dry so I called it a day about two.

Report: Went up to Lopez or the week, but only got in one day due to the high winds. Managed 18 bass on blue and chartruse crankbaits in 6 to 8 oot o water. Five largest weighted 21-11, the largest was 5-6. I didn't notice any ish on the beds, but they have to be going soon. Probably this next week, 3/24/02. Wish I could be there but have a trip planned to Lake Alamo in AZ.

Report: Fished Kaweah Bassmasters tournament. 1st went to matt kasdor o visalia with 9.16 lbs. and big ish at 6 lbs even. 2nd to george rosales o visalia at 6.61 lbs. and 3rd was carlos araiza o visalia with 6.58 lbs. 29 anglers competed. Next meeting on April 2nd,at 6:30pm. Visalia sales yard and next tournament on April 7th. sign-ups at 5-6 am, second ramp. Thanks and we will see you there. Brian

Report: Got on the water around 1:30. Started out slow, but picked up as the day went on. My partner and I boated several small ish up to 1lb. on 4" plastics, color didn't seem to matter, both largemouth and spots.Fish were in 20-30' range. Moved to point across rom dam to the east and picked up a ew more decent ones. Then moved to area near the spillway and picked up 6-7 more late aternoon again on 4" plastics and dropshotting 8-15', largest ish was 2.2lb. largemouth. Looking orward to warmer weather and more active ish as the ish move up

Report: Did pretty good last week end beore that ront came thru and cooled the water down. Had three bites on chartreus skirted spinnerbaits. Largest was 9.10 and smallest was 7.04. See the pic in ishy photos
