Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got started about 4:30 p.m. SLOOOWWWW Start. Finally got one ish about 7:30 on a drop shot 1 1/2 or so. Only stuck one more on a buzzbait. I had a bad evening, riend had a better one, but also commented on the declining bite. The ramps are ridiculous with the Skier types. I wish the rangers would start ticketing all those double-parking jerks in the parking lot. Those A&%$%&&^ need to learn how to drive, park launch, recover, etc. their damn boats. One guys took about 10 minutes and about 6 tries to get his boat on....with help. ARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
      City: Hanord

Tips: Stay away during the daytime, it'll drive you crazy on the ramp.

Report: Caught a lot o little dinks back in the Arroyo Grande arm(back under the bridge) on cranks and spinners. Some o these were almost smaller than the lure...I'm supprised that they would even try to eat it! Only caught one decent size and that was on a 4" purple power worm in a cove opposite Cottonwood Cove. Spent most o the time trying to ind pockets away rom the wind which was blowing all day.
      City: Santa Maria

      Tips: Be prepared or wind!!

      Water Temp: 62

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Nice weather, but a hanging low pressure on the lake all day really slowed down the action. Small plastics worked or just 4 ish rom 8am to 1:30pm. Whew! It was tough going! It seems as long as you can arrive on a nice steady air pressure day the ishing does well. It became dangerously windy out there rom 1:00pm on rom the ski arm and I'm sure some olks were sweating bullets trying to get thier boats in on the east ramp!
      City: Los Angeles

Tips: The water or the irst part o the day is extermly clear and you can see some rather large ish near shore but with that low pressure present it WILL be tough going or you! Live bait might help in these tough conditions. Lite line is a MUST!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started at irst light. Went straight to power lines. Fish busting surace all over. Partner immediately had one swirl on buzz bait but did not hook up. I threw a blade or a short period with several short strikes. Switched to Pop-R's and started reelin' 'em in. Had a blast catching ish up to 2 lbs. Moved to eagle's nest to try some ish that partner knew o. It was covered with boats rom Visalia Club tourney. So we moved to rip rap at bridge as next option. Cranked and drop shotted. No takers. Went back to eagles nest ater it cleared. No hits. By this time sun was up high. Went to docks and started "strokin" em. Nice ish 2 lbs plus. Skipping plastics as ar back into docks and under pontoons as possible. Partner had a nice 5 to 6 pounder break him o. Picked up a couple more drop shotting the dam around noon. Pulled o at 1:30.
      City: Hanord

Tips: Don't miss the top water bite in the early morning on the grassy North side. Pop'rs with a slower cadence. Ater Sun gets high, move to docks skipping plastics in the shade and hold on. Fish hitting immediately on drop. I no takers, pick up and skip again. Don't waste time working bait.
