The bites were almost unrecognizable. My son struggled a bit losing lots o rigs in the rocks.Moved rom dam back to where the water comes in untill dark a ew bites ater that...a storm ront moving in ish moved to deep water....mostly.
City: ClovisTips: Stay in control o the worm at all times...Keep it moving slow as possible without it hitting the bottom. Colors green & brown 4' keep your hands clean. set with any resistence.

Report: Wow! You can SEE the ish right there!! They are right now on the spawn! You can see them rubbing thier sides to loosen the eggs up. For anyone walking the bank with good sunglasses you'll ind ish! Slow crawling you rig is still best! I igure we'll have another week or so o this and then we start "post-spawn" or some o the ish.
City: los angelesTips: For the bank angler I would suggest keeping low and not moving around i you don't have to. Light line( I was using 4lbs test) a good bait hook and live nightcrawlers "ly-lined" worked best today. 6 ish, best was 4lbs. Nice day on the lake, very pretty! Look out! Here comes summer!!!

Report: Ron W.,Why do you have to get all these Tulare County Residents excited about Kaweah lake right now? It hasn't been that good. We've been catching smaller bass (12" to 15") all over the lake on weightless 6" worms (all colors) and luke type baits, salt/pepper/chart-tail in the shallow areas on north shore and south shores. Split shotting 4" worms always works here but haven't gotten anything big so ar this year. 2001 Police/Fire Olympics ishing tournament in August at the Delta is ours baby!!!
