      Report: Dropshot bite was on. Most o the ish came rom 45-50t. The bait was right above the ish on slopping points in the main lake. The weather was nasty but the catching was great. Most o the ish were 14 to 18". biggest 3lbs.
      City: caruthers

      Tips: Fish are still deep but do act like they are getting ready to stage. All plastics 4" or smaller. Color didn't matter.

      Report: caught 2 largemouth keepers back to back on 4-1/2" hand pours (peanut butter). 24 t o water. draggin it texas rig. light line.light sinker. irst thing in the morning. the bite only lasted15 minutes. it was raining. i tried dropshotting... nothing. another boat was running and gunning rom point to point throwingcranks... he caught 4 smallmouth and 1 largemouth. i didn'tstick with the crank long enough. saw a lot o ish on thedepth inder... could have been carp or stripers. otherwise, itwas a beautiul day. very little wind in the morning. the windkicked up around 12pm.

      Report: we started on south shore and threw or trout we got there about 5:30 buy 6 we had our limit each total o 10 trout. it was exciting or us because we hadn't ished poway in a long time. when we got there it was like heaven we were throwen tubes yellow/white south shore is the key to this lake because it is so close to the boat dock well you should just go and ind out i its worth it or not well i know its worth so have un

      Report: i went to hodges bout 5:30 in the moring and hooked up with two nice lunkers they were 3.2 and 3.5 the lake was slow or what i usally catch. there is also a pond right next to there lake back bt the rancho brenado arm you have to walk a little but its worth it. You can ask most kid ishermen orm the area bout it the name o the pond i rb inn. you avaraghe a 2-3 pounder. i went there last night bout 5:30 till 6:30 and hooked up with 12 bass between me and my best riend we cought them on red with christmas sparkles poured by george at poway bait and tackle.we rigged them texas style with a 3/16 bullet weight so i you ever get the chance to go there you should.

      Tips: since it is winter you need to ish slow because you want the bait to be in the strike zone as long as possible. be prepared to wait these bass can be iniky but not always, you should start out with chocolate/blue vein rigged texas style then move to a dark red and i that doesnt work go lighter in color on your plastic. some crankbaits are working too but only a ew, rapala at rap is doing were in shad color and the rebel crawdad cranks are workin well too we.. the main key is to ish the points ajasent to deep water. also ish the main strcture o the pond or lake these keys will help you

      Report: Got on the water at approx 12:30 pm on a beautiul day(temp almost 70)with no wind and a slight breeze. Fished in the 5 MPH zone early on without any good results(caught one ish in approx 35 eet). Moved back onto the main lake and ished the large island on the Buck Ridge side. Picked up three ish to 1 1/2 lbs drop shoting in 35 to 40 eet. I was using Pro Worms cinn/blue 4" worm. Moved over to the rocky points on the day use side o the lake and continued to drop shot in 35/40 eet using a variety o small 4 1/2 to 5 inch worms. Had the best luck on Magic Worms in Rythem and Blue. Put 13 more ish in the boat and had three more come unbuttoned. No real size (largest 2.2 lbs with a couple o 1 1/2 lbs and the rest clones at 1 lb).

      Tips: Use your sonar. Look or ish and anything that even looks like it might be a ish. They are right on the bottom and i you believe your graph you can catch them.

      Report: rick and i went out ishin or 2 days,sunday was ok,caught bass,about 25,but no big ones,monday bass where small,15 or so,but no real weight.water temp,58,up 6 deg,s rom thursday,ishin jigs slow around docks&launch ramps,dropshotin too,try shaded areas..

      Report: Had a great day on the water today. We caught and released 41 bass. Two smallmouth and the rest spots. Jigs and splitshot reapers were the ticket. The ish were deep in the morning and shallower as the day progressed. No reaction ish but didnt give it much eort. Just lots o un with plastics. The weather was great! About 80 degrees. Came back sunburned in ebruary. Far cry rom resno. Cant wait to go back.

      Report: well I went ishing ater work ,got on the lake @2:00 p.m and got o at 5:30.I took my wie out and she soaked a night crawler about 1 t o the bottom in 50-60 t water while I bounced my purple jig with josh pork rine trailer @ the same depth.We ish one area or about 30-45 mins then trolled about 15 t down with cranks where I was picking up some ish @ 30 t on my inder.I did this cause I thought we might get lucky.That works really well in the summer time when ish come up to 8-16 t water.This was my third time out since I got my new boat and still 0 or 3.I you can go out and consitantly catch bass this time o yr I would say you are an experianced isherman.I think one problem is I have no trolling motor so I must anchor to pick the bottom with worms and jigs.Hopeully I'll get the hang o this ishing thing soon.I did ind one thing interesting while we were anchored in 65-70' water there was water ducks o some sort diving down and comming up with minnows.This tells me that there were bait ish near and shallow.I would say there was easilly 200-300 birds there diving down or about 5 secs then comming u with minnos .This all happened at around 4:00-5:00.The good thing was we got to get out and enjoy the lake on the weekday as well as most weekends.Untill next time God bless you and be sae on the water .

      Report: well,guest what rick and i did, went ishin again,he got a new rod,and loves it.caught about 12 bass,but then things changed,we went to the dam and i got a 2 pound whitebass,we ran over to lovers cove and i got reel lucky,drop a limit worm jig in about 20 eet,just o a brush pile and caught my second biggest bass,7 pounds,24 inches long,the bear kickbass,have maps o habatit and ishin hot spots,i your interested.e-mail me.

      Report: I'm going to go ishing tommarow ater I get o work @ 1:30 .I just bought a 13 t aluminum with a 15 horse johnson.I also purchased a regional pass .I'll be ishing Margarita and Lopez almost every weekend.Then maybe that will increase my odds.First two times i went to lopez with my boat I got zero ish but igured out they were deep with my inder.I tried slow rolling white spinner baits.Now I'll try jig n pig,and possibly worms and tubes down in 50-70 t o water .There is no doubt in my mind that they r deep!!!I'll let you all know how I do.

      Report: Hit the lake or a ew hours. I caught several 13" ish on a drop shot. 33' deep seemed to be key. Tried a spinner bait and got slammed twice but missed the ish so I let them rest or a while and went back with a baby senko and caught them both,15 inchers, right on the bank but about 8'-10' deep. I wish I had my rip bait box with me! WW

      Report: Fishing or the club tournament was great, 21 o 22 teams weight in ish. Jigs and split shotting seems to be getting most o the ish.

      Report: Had a club tourney at Naci about a week ago, everyone caught ish. One o the better winter tournaments in recent memory. Top 5 all had over 9 lbs, winner had 13 lbs. Best bite was on sot plastics in 5-15' o water. Methods varied rom Carolina rigs to Texas rigs to dart heads. A variety o colors were eective, Morning Dawn worked or me!

      Report: Put about six hours on the water,tossed a Nichols blade all day,silver/white.I ended up with 13 keepers and a couple dinks.All were spots w/ one smallie.All the ish hit me in less then 5t o water,I even seen most o them hit it.All the ish hit on points to 1/2 way back in the coves.Big ish was a spot just shy o 3lbs.This lake can be un this time o year.

      Report: my riend ralph and I decided to loat the boat and try some ishing on a nice socal day. we drited quite a bit around the lake or nothing. I decided to try the area just out o the speed zone across the lake rom the launchramp. I was using 4lb test and a loating crawler, my avorite rig,and was driting over submerged trees when a nice size largemouth inhaled my worm. ater a nice ight, I pulled in a bass pushing 5 maybe 6lbs. I snapped some quick pictures and sent the piggy piggy home. that was it or us. sure beat sitting at home. Fish on ellas. stinkywally
