      Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

      Report: Launched out of paradice and stayed nearby trying to focus on certain areas. Started out with a couple in the 2.5# range right away on voo-doo baits. Missed a decent one on a senko that probably would have been our big fish in white's. We hit fish on rips cranks and drop-shot for a total of 17 fish at about 14.5#. According to other boats, it seems the action wasn't that hot.

      Tips: Nobody likes high pressure days with not even a ripple on the surface, you have to take full advantage of a good tide when you have one. Time it well and you'll benefit.Our best bite after the tide rolled out was with voo-doos and speed traps in sparse weed patches, make sure you have deep water nearby during low tide.

      Report: Launched out of Holland Tract. Started out throwing Jigs and Speedtraps near the tules. Caught a few good fish nothing large. Went into Franks Tract and started with a Shellcracker Bluegill around the tules and nailed 3 Bass biggest 10.4 the smallest 7.9. I am going back tomorrow.

      Report: Started out of Rivers End and about 12:00pm and headed over to the Old River. Fished woody points near shallow bays with crankbaits and spinners. Landed 12 fish in 5 hours, largest 5 going for 14lbs. All fish between 2-3 pounds. Bite not bad. Some fish caught in sallows. Fish starting to move up into spawing areas. Unable to find anything with good size. Maybe next week.

      Report: Launched at B&W THEN OFF TO FRANKS. fIRST CAST AT 7:30-LAST CAST AT 2:00. O BITES/ O FISH-ouch!

      Tips: Low tide peaked at 1:00p.m. Very few people on the water. The ones I talked to did te same as I did. One guy caught a 15 striper while trolling. Maybe next week.......

      Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

      Report: Had an interesting day. When I caught all of my fish rippin' there was a solid cloud cover. I really think that helped me. I fished today and couldn't dredge up a ripbait fish! I caught some decent fish but it really seems like the warm sunlight is pushing the fish under or real close to cover. I caught some drop shot fish and some brushhog fish. The swimbait thing has gone down the toilet totally. Don't know what's up w/ that? Oh well, it is supposed to be cloudy and possibly rain tomorrow. Maybe I'll catch em' rippin tomorrow. Just got to fish!!

      Tips: Look for any opportunity you have to fish when it's colder and cloudy. You'll have a better crack at some good reaction fish. Rip that pointer real slow and soak it for about 10-12 sec. Your bited will almost always come on the pause. Good Luck!!

      Report: Fished glory hole and tuttle town area. Caught spots in 8ft out to 25ft. fish were grouped together. 100 yard stretches of nothing and several would come from the same spot. got them all on texas rigged candy colored 6" worm. Never felt a single bite. Just raised the rod and felt slow steady pressure. defineitely not a wide open bite for me but it was worth the trip. got about 10 with biggest about 2.5#

      Tips: if you feel pressure on your line swing on it.dont wait for the tic or the tap I never felt one.

      Report: fished yesterday 6:30 til 4pm .... zero bites . boat partner had two bites . i tried everything from darter head to swimbaits and everything in between . only bites and only fished graphed were on off shore humps and points and we didn't graph much there. we fished main lake and up river arm . only saw about 8 or so boats on lake and almost all ( except one) were trout fishing and they weren't havoing a lot of luck . nice calm day bright blue skies

      Tips: only tip would be go somewhere else.. water was gin clear ..we did see picture of a small mouth that marina says was new lake record. i think it was just under 9 !!!!!

      Report: Fished main lake for very few bites. Tried many lures. Went up putdah s/p creek and found a jerk bait bite from 1lb to 3.4 lbs around 15 to 20 hooks ups with 12 landed.

      Report: Well Norm & I launched around 9:30 from Capell cove. We headed straight for the begining of the narrows and tried there. Moved to the little island, nothing. Fished around the reclamation area & finally caught our first fish @ 11:15. Pope ck was no good either. Ended with 7 bass.

      Tips: All fish were caught while drop-shotting. All of the fish were on a flashtrix in different colors.
      Seemed like a much slower day when compared to last friday. Good Luck!

      George speaks the truth about the six pounder and the probably 12 other 3s, 4s and 5s. He fished from my Ranger on Monday. I weighed the fish, and took the pictures that he'll be glad to show you. Like some of the other fellows who try to post useable information here, he simply explained how he caught them. I just wish he didn't school me on my own boat!

      Report: Launch out of Russo about 10:30am, low tide at franks tract. caught few three ponders. fished few different spots, all have good fishes there, biggest were 6 ponders, few five ponders, finder some in the deep water, also some on the bed. slow down your presentation at the shallow water. bigger fish!!!

      Report: It was a nice day on the lake except for the fact that my partner and I skunked. Haven't hit a lake in about six months so I was a little rusty (a Lot). Here were the conditions: water temp started out around 56 and warmed up to 60. Water vis is around 10-12ft al over the lake. Very few fish were up shallow and were very skittish. Would not even look at a bait. We fished main lake points, secondary points, backs of coves. Not even a nibble. Saw a bunch of boats fishing the outside edge of the sunken island (north side). Only about 25-30 boats on the lake all day. Finally gave up around 3:30. Think I'll sell the boat and tackle and take up stamp collecting.

      Tips: Fish are in a definite pre-spawn mode. Maybe another week of warm weather will bring em up. If you have advice, let me have it.

      Report: launched my paton boat at lakeport the boat ramp is a little slippery so (be careful) slipped while trying to get in my boat good advise sand paper your flippers. well anyway i oared across to rodman slough and while oaring i said what the hell so i trolled with a white and yellow and rainbow chuckker bait and got one carp nice size so i cut him up and put him in my basket for night cat fishing.

      got to rodman slough and had to bend my rods down so they would not hit the bridge. i got 8 bass using a rattle bait with a spredder and a crank bait on the other side i got 2 at once. great day best 5 went 12.5 pounds.

      Tips: you dont really need a bass boat. cut up carp works great to attrack female bass males seem to be afraid of it. troll in the middle for the big ones.

      get a halibut spredder but i dont think i can use it in the flw this weekend. but i might sneek it. good luck.

      Report: I fished yesterday and had a damn good day rippin'. I caught and released 10+ fish, the biggest, a near 7 pounder!! I was fishing out of my 8'kick boat when disaster struck me. A huge 35 ft. day day cruiser was doing about 60 inside the bouees and threw up a 4' wake. A series of unfortunate events led to me flipping losing a rod, an oar, and two boxes of terminal tackle. My waders filled up and luckily I didn't lose my life!! So really catching the fish lost it's worth because of the accident. I was just glad to still be kickin'!!

      Report: Started the day with 1 pound largemouth on the first cast using my favorite cartreuse jerkbait. Spent the next few hours fishing shallow cover using senkos with no luck. Fished a point half way up the lake and caught a 1 pound smallmouth and a 1 pound largemouth on the cartreuse jerkbait. Made another pass on this point and caught a few small stripers, some just larger than the 18 inch limit. Came back to this point later in the day and could not keep the stripers off the chartreuse jerkbait. By the end of the day me and my son had a total of 29 stripers , 3 largemouth and 1 smallmouth bass.

      Report: Fishing is starting to pickup. Anyone else been having any luck? Fish between 2-3 lbs being caught with some monsters being posted inthe Fresno Bee. Fish are moving up shallow and with the warmer weather we should see the spawn explode.

      Tips: Worms, grubs, lizards, jigs, crankbaits should all be catching fish.

      Report: Should have stayed home! The lake is turning over...it looks like someone dumped thousands of pounds of finely cut grass into the water and clumps of moss are still rising to the top...the whole lake looks like crap. Fished from 6:30-1:30 and not even a bite...threw everything in my arsenal all with no results. Hope like hell it clears up by the 17th for my next tournament.
