Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got up to the lake at about 3:30 this aternoon. got a ew bites but couldn't hook anything or the irst couple hours. then i switched to a 4" watermelon/red lake worm carolina rigged. Ater two casts, had a nice 4.2 largemouth hammer it on the descent in a secondary cove. Ater i took it o the scale and put it back, i rerigged, and had another big male hit it in almost the exact same spot. this one was 3.73 but deinately had some ight in him. I had to leave right ater that, but in all it was a pretty good trip to the lake. very ew boaters, and there was little to no wind which i had yet to experience here.
      City: Rohnert Park

Tips: try carolina rigged plastics. watermelon/red lake worked or me, but i am sure other colors would work. both were caught in about 15'. keep o the bedding ish!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at Ladd's at 1 p.m. and the wind was really blowing. Headed over to Old River and tried to ind some relie rom the wind in some protected areas but it didn't happen. Tried lipping a brush hog or a while, I managed to boat three in the 2 lb. range, but the wind made it to diicult to hold the boat so I gave that up. Switched over to a white spinner bait and let the wind blow me down the weed lines while I tossed into the gaps. This turned out to be the best move I made. In the next 2 hrs. I boated a 3.3, 3.5, 4.1, 4.5, 6.2 and a 7.8 kicker. I sure hoped it was going to continue but in the next hour and a hal I didn't get another hit. The wind got the best o me by then so I headed in. Best 5 went 26.1 lbs.. My personal best.

Report: Wie & I took 4 yr. old grandson out at 8 am to 12 pm. He got to reel in six average 12" to 14" largemouth & one 2 lb. Crappie. He couldn't reel in the 4 lb. largemouth so helped the wie net it. Hooked one other 5+ bass but it made a run into a nearby weed bed then shook the hook. 15 to 20 mph wind help scatter the algae bloom but made boat control a little tougher. All ish came split shotting plastics. No takers on spinner bait.
      City: Delhi

Tips: Most ish appeared to be aggressive males either preparing beds or guarding them? Todays color o choice or majority o ish was june bug. 4" curly tails or small crawdad imitations.

Report: HEY HAVE TO AGREE BASS SHOULDN'T BE FISHED WHILE BEDDING.I HAVE BASS FISHED FOR CLOSE TO 40 YEARS NOW AND PRACTICE CATCH AND RELEASE AND I AM AN AVID TOURNAMENT FISHERMAN AND BELIEVE THAT FISH SHOULD NOT BE FISHED WHILE BEDDING IN TOURNAMENTS OR OTHERWISE ESPECIALLY BY THE MEAT FISHERMAN. ALOT OF STUDIES HAVE BEEN DONE ON THIS AS FOR RETURNING TO BEDS OR HAVING BEDS RAIDED AND NONE WOULD SUPPORT BED FISHING BESIDES LOOK HOW EASY IT IS TO FISH BEDS DOES THAT REALLY TEST A ANGLERS SKILLS? I AM PLANNING A TRIP TO SHASTA IN MAY, FIRST TIME TO THE LAKE SEEMS NUMBERS ARE THERE BUT NOT MUCH FOR SIZE ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Report: Two Person Guide Trip, Cool and Windy all day. We ished the west Delta all day ishing weed lats with the early high tide. Using 5" Tubes, Blk & Brn Jigs we lipped sparse tules or some reason we all missed or lost our irst couple o ish, then scored a 2.5lb then a 3 and another 3.5 or about two hours we caught and released about 12 ish 2.5-4.5lbs most on tubes but had 3 good ones on a 1/2oz Assassinater. We then ran to check out some spawning areas and caught 6 more all good ones. We caught a ew on the Assassinater but most would miss it, then real quick ater the miss we would throw a Senko and wham got um. Ater that we caught some bed ish at low tide with a pink senko. Great day over 30 bass 5 over 4 and a bunch o 2.5-3.5lbersI seem to have ound quality ish but just can't ind the big bite and would mind a tip or two.
